Hereβs what weβve been working on:
New Enemy Combos & Bio Link System
We've been implementing fresh enemy combos and refining the bio link system. While there are still minor issues (such as enemies jumping to the wrong platforms due to pathfinding bugs), the system is mostly functional, and progress is looking good. We've also polished combat mechanics for enemies.
Animation & Boss Mechanics
Weβre focusing on animating biped enemies and polishing existing animation sets. The [REDACTED] chunk designs are nearly done, and we're working closely to fine-tune the boss symbiote fight mechanics. At the same time, high-poly sculpts and textures for the [REDACTED] region are being finalized, as we prepare for further work in the next area.
Player Controls & Combat Flow
Weβre refining animation canceling for attacks, giving players the ability to interrupt mid-attack with jumps, dashes, or parries. Soon, we'll tackle fast-falling mechanics and directional charge attacks to add even more fluidity and depth to combat.
Level Design & Tutorial
The team is focused on polishing the tutorial section and fixing issues related to the save system, as well as refining the wound and death states for the player. We're also making progress on level, ensuring smooth transitions and improved layouts for a more polished experience.
Weβre making great progress on all fronts, from gameplay mechanics to level design, ensuring ReSetna evolves into an immersive experience you wonβt forget.
