[BETA] Update 0.4.3 : Optimization & gameplay

Hello everyone,

Here is Patch note 0.4.3, focused on graphic and gameplay optimization:

  • A significant optimization pass has been carried out to allow GTX 1060 (6GB) graphics cards to better enjoy the game.
  • Reduction in the size of some textures
  • Dynamic loading of certain areas for smoother gameplay
  • Addition of an option to enable/disable motion blur
  • Addition of dynamic rescaling to improve performance

🍳 Gameplay & Fixes[/h3]

  • The number of dishes requested per day by customers has been limited (at high levels, the demands were excessive)
  • Cocktail stations are now available in 3 different speeds: 2min, 1min, 30 seconds
  • Addition of aquariums for raising fish and shrimp 🦐🐠
  • All cooking tasks are now accessible via small panels
  • Correction of some kitchen elements that could overlap
  • Staghorn coral can now be picked up
  • The cook no longer tries to place objects on the trophy shelf
  • The chicken now displays the remaining time before laying an egg
  • Beaten eggs can now be placed on kitchen counters
  • Fixed a bug where moving the cutting board made it unusable


🎮 GeforceNow: We have restarted Steam several times, without success. At the moment we do not know if the game will be part of the catalog.

Update 0.4: ACT III

Hello everyone!

We wish you a wonderful year 2026, and plenty of video games in your Steam wishlists.

[h3]Act 3 is live![/h3]

Dev note: Originally planned for December, this update proved more challenging than expected. In addition, an unexpected family event caught us off guard, and in those moments, personal life always comes first 🫂 With a bit of delay but just as much determination as before, we are happy to announce that Act 3 is now live!

[h3] ☀ What’s new: [/h3]
  • Act 3 of the storyline
  • Chad, a traveling merchant, offers you special item resale contracts
  • Client levels from 11 to 15
  • New activities: Sauna, Minigolf, Foosball, Big Waterslide, Weight Lifter (to work your muscles and show them off on the beach)


  • New items: A tropical shower, a European tree, a comfy bench, Aztec statues,...


  • Create dome sculptures using corals!


  • Two new cooking recipes: Cosmic Punch (cocktail) and Papaya Grilled Chicken (dish)


  • From Act I, clients may ask you to find their lost belongings using the metal detector


  • Resell your items to Silvia using the item box!


[h3]🐔 New interactions (and more gags!): [/h3]
  • Seagulls disturb the island with their droppings!


  • Sweep dust off towels, deckchairs, and seagull droppings
  • There is a slingshot: Shoot chickens! And seagulls! And your teammates! And clients! Oops...
  • Chickens live on the island: you can catch them, cook them, and they lay eggs (in the coop). Eggs make omelets. 🥚


  • The photobooth is simpler and more fun to use
  • If you place TNT to blow up houses, be careful not to stand too close...

Improvements[/h3]
  • Chef debugging and improvements. A tutorial is available in the "Help" section
  • Ferry fixes: ferries sometimes appeared empty
  • Ferry fixes: clients from the second ferry disappeared upon arrival
  • Old Joe completely disappeared at the end of Act 2
  • Clients’ meals disappeared from tables, causing them to reorder the same dish
  • Bugged fountain client animation
  • Added animations for the chef
  • The chef did not pick up newly crafted recipes or ingredients
  • Photowall no longer worked for guest players
  • Employees mysteriously disappeared
  • Placing floor tiles caused bugs in client movement
  • Added an option to disable shadows (for lower-end PCs)
  • Counters had collision issues
  • After loading a save, the player could start sliding
  • Temple lighting changed depending on the time of day
  • Some clients got stuck going to towels
  • Sometimes shrimps did not appear
  • Shrimps did not cook properly in multiplayer
  • Added visual feedback when earning money

[BETA] v0.4 and Act III

Hi everyone,

Update 0.4, including Act III and its new features, is now live on the BETA branch. We’ll wait a few days before releasing it on the public branch, along with a full announcement covering new features, improvements, and bug fixes.

As always, don’t forget to back up your save before switching to the beta branch. Feel free to report any bugs you encounter!
