Dev Log #6 - Temple Design

Placing a white wall in the middle of the forest is good for minimalist style, but not that classy.

More details needed to be added without moving far from game design


So, yes. "Torri" is the solution here


With a twist, some temples will be submerged


This means you cant use it without having a "Swim" action card


Temples come in 2 sizes, large which is house sized and small which is yard sized. large temple have 2 cards place holder, and small temples have 1 card place holder. Temple cards need a specific size to work

Dev Log #5 - Temple Cards

This is the dev log where you know what buildings will you find in forest biome

Temple cards can only be used inside temples, at first you will find temple spawn with cards in them


First Temple Card is "Dual Offer", lets you select one of 2 cards that have same rarity as the temple cards but card mods are hidden.


2nd Temple Card is "Dual Sacrifice", lets you Sacrifice 2 cards for a random card its rarity depends on Sacrificed cards


3rd Temple Card is "Dual Fusion", lets you merge 2 cards into 1 card


Drag and drop mechanic is the worst, I replaced it so you click on the card then you click on place holder, its quicker and easier with a controller

this update focuses on bug fixes

Dev Log #3 - Forest River Turn Tile

[h2]New Forest Tile[/h2]
that makes 2 forest tiles so far.


Forest tiles are being tested and guess what I found new bugs that only appears because of curved surfaces of the forest, so it had to be fixed in the demo and also in the release, that's why you saw many updates to the demo last couple of weeks.



lets jump to the new tile first, I will share screenshots from "play mode" and let you guess what it looks like.



the very good news is, the forest tiles really captured the feeling the game needed, here you see river is going in curved path, this means less time will be spent on those tiles.



this tile have 2 bridges, so there is only 12.5% for tile to have complete bridges to cross both sides with a car.



now its possible to see more than one river at the same time, this makes it that you can easily make your way by looking into map quickly



Tall Trees will make it hard to tell which is north.



Hidden paths will be found between trees, those paths will be wide enough for you to fight nightmares in them.



too many screenshots were shared already, can you guess what the tile look like yet ?



Hiding from enemies is too easy in the forest just find a big tree, also stealth kills are more fun there.



You have to note that in the forest you will find less cards than the city also hard to find.



thats what the tile look like from build mode, it have both a curved road and a curved river intersecting



they were plans to make another 2 tiles (Forest - River End) & (Forest - No River) adding them may cost a delay in release date later, so those will be delayed for an update.



Next steps: Adding building for forest tiles and Adding swimming. I dont know which comes first, but once both of those are done expect a rare devlog
