[p]Hey everyone! 🙋‍♂️[/p][p]This update brings improved graphics, new ambient sounds and many small improvements: Lots of little things that make the game prettier and more enjoyable :-)[/p][p][/p][h3]Improved Graphics & Sound[/h3]

• [p]Improved graphics: The graphics engine has been improved, so that different terrain can now be shown in each landscape. Meadows now have more flowers, mountains are covered in rocks, and forests are full of branches. The river landscape has also been made somewhat swampier, with tall grass and dead wood.[/p]
• [p]Improved biomes: All landscapes have been further refined, giving each one its own unique look. In the mountains, for example, the bushes in the background have been replaced with overgrown rocks. All landscapes now also feature more vegetation in the foreground.[/p]
• [p]Ambient sounds: Depending on the landscape, you can now hear ambient sounds. Rivers babble, birds chirp, stones crunch in the mountains, and the wind whistles. It's best to turn the music down to 0 to listen to everything. Combined with the improved graphics, each landscape now has a more distinct character.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]Other Improvements[/h3]

• [p]Horse counter: Whenever a horse is added or lost (starting from five horses), the current number of horses is displayed.[/p]
• [p]Improved particle effects: The confetti particle effects have been given even more confetti because... um... more confetti! :-)[/p]
• [p]Improved camera: If several horses crash in quick succession, the camera no longer jumps to the wrong horse.[/p]

[p]Hey everyone! 🙋‍♂️[/p][p]Horse Runner DX is generally a relaxed game, but it can get quite fast-paced. Some players who are sensitive to motion experienced motion sickness. With this update, I've reworked the camera and added new settings so that everyone can now enjoy the game![/p][p][/p][p]Here are the improvements coming with Update 1.3.0:[/p][p][/p][h3]Motion Sickness Improvements[/h3]

• [p]Improved camera: The camera has been redesigned to reduce vertical movement. Additionally, visibility on steep slopes has been improved. [/p]
• [p]Cleaned up graphics settings: The "Reduce motion" option in the settings menu has been replaced with a "Screen shake" setting. This makes it clearer what this setting does.[/p]
• [p]Motion sickness adjustments: In the graphics settings, you can now disable the parallax effect of the background. This makes the background static and greatly reduces overall movement. This setting helps motion-sensitive players avoid motion sickness.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]Accessibility Improvements[/h3]

• [p]Improved UI: The currently highlighted UI element will now be more clearly emphasized. This applies to buttons and all other interactive elements in the game. Reminder: You can switch between mouse, keyboard and gamepad at any time during the game.[/p]
• [p]Motion sickness assistant: The first time you launch the latest version, a wizard will appear. There, you can select whether you want to reduce movement in the game or not. The corresponding settings will be applied depending on your selection.[/p]

As a big fan of achievements and trophies, I've put a lot of effort into coming up with some interesting challenges. Hope you enjoy :-)[/p][p][/p][p]Here are the new features in Update 1.2.0:[/p][p][/p][h3]Achievements[/h3]

• [p]Full set of achievements: A total of 50 achievements have been added, designed for new and experienced players alike.[/p]
• [p]Translations for 8 languages: I've tried to translate all the references and jokes into other languages. If you think another translation is more appropriate, please let me know.[/p]
• [p]Achievement FAQs: There's a new thread in the discussions with additional information. You can also ask questions about achievements there.[/p]

• [p]Improved herd behavior: Following horses no longer fall behind when swapping positions at top speed.[/p]
• [p]Improved horse selection: Newly unlocked starting horses are now automatically selected upon purchase (star icon).[/p]
• [p]Improved data screen: The data screen now shows the current progress for each area that can be reset (e.g. apples, challenge level).[/p]
• [p]Tweaked sound effects: The sound when collecting apples and others has been slightly changed in pitch.[/p]

[p]Hey everyone! 🙋‍♂️[/p][p]First, thanks to all new and existing players for playing Horse Runner DX. It's really amazing to see the high scores some people have achieved! :-) This update includes some quality of life improvements and fine-tuning.[/p][p][/p][h3]Improvements & Fixes[/h3]

• [p]Adjusted horse prices: The horse prices (beginning of each level) have been adjusted so that the various power-ups are valued slightly differently in higher levels.[/p]
• [p]Adjusted sound effects: Many sound effects have now been given some variation so that the same sound effect always sounds slightly different.[/p]
• [p]Added biome coloring: The different biomes (meadows, forest, rivers, mountains, uphill, downhill) now have different color schemes. For example, the meadows have a warm, summery color, while the mountain landscape has a slightly cooler color.[/p]
• [p]Added foreground landscape: To give the landscape more visual depth, vegetation has been added to the foreground. This can also be disabled in the graphics settings.[/p]
• [p]Added bonus horse notification: As soon as new starting horses can be purchased, some buttons in the menus now display a small notification (apple symbol).[/p]
• [p]Added anti-cheat protection: To ensure that only honest high scores end up in the leaderboard, some anti-cheat measures have been implemented.[/p]
• [p]Fixed special character support: The leaderboard displays players' names. More special characters are now supported in the names (such as © or ®).[/p]

This quality of life update brings a number of minor improvements and graphical enhancements to make the game better - and cuter :-)

[h3]Improvements & Fixes[/h3]

• Improved graphics settings: The retro filter and the bloom effect can now be adjusted separately if you prefer less bloom and more sharpness. The settings are 0 = off, 1 = low, 2 = high.
  
• Improved high refresh rate support: The game is generally limited to 60 FPS. If you have a monitor with a high refresh rate (e.g., 240 Hz), you can unlock the FPS in the graphics settings. This will run the game at 240 FPS, for example.
  
• Added little birds: To make everything even cuter, there are now little birds everywhere, sitting along the path or in trees, happily pecking around.
  
• Added falling leaves: In areas with many trees, there are now falling leaves floating to the ground. This makes the landscape look more vibrant and natural.
  
• Added additional animations: The red finish flag and the balloons on the horse box have now been animated, so that, for example, the finish flag flutters in the wind.
  
• Added new notification: Whenever challenges are completed and new bonus horses are available, there will now be a notification that new horses have been unlocked.
  
• Improved end of demo: While the full version is unlimited, the demo is limited to 5 levels. The area after level 5 has been improved and made a bit more exciting.
  
• Improved particle effects: The particle effects (confetti) after selecting an additional horse have been redesigned so that the selected horse card dissolves into confetti.
