Jurassic World Evolution 3 Devs Stopped Generative AI Because Fans Bullied Them

Since receiving gratuitous backlash regarding the usage of generative AI, the developers of Jurassic World Evolution 3 announced they’ve stopped using it.

It has been weeks since Frontier Development announced the third game in the Jurassic Evolution franchise, Jurassic World Evolution 3, at SGF 2025. Since then, fans have kept their eyes peeled on the announcement trailer and noticed in-game scientist portraits had been made using generative AI. Steam recently instituted a requirement earlier in June for devs to disclose whether their Steam-released title uses generative AI or not, and the latest Jurassic World Evolution indeed confessed to using the tech.
