Join Rumi to find out![/p][p]\[Brand New Season 5 Content][/p][p]● A New Adventure Begins Now[/p][p]To the Stars and Seas—All Forces, Move Out![/p][p]Chapters 1–4 of the brand‑new Space Adventure are now open. Commanders will venture into a new sector of space to face alien species head‑on![/p][p]● All‑New Divine Mech[/p][p]The all‑new Divine Mech is descending upon Metal Slug to support Commanders against the incoming Crisis Events! Compared with Season 4’s Mecha play styles, Season 5’s Mecha play styles will not only join you in battle, but can also grant your character and weapons special abilities—pushing power to a whole new tier![/p][p]1. Multiple style options[/p][p]Four new Mecha styles are available: Soul Hunter, Colossus, Geomagnetic, and Black Devourer.[/p][p]① \[Soul Hunter]: Weapon hits have a chance to trigger a “Lifesteal” effect, dealing damage to enemies and stealing HP. Maintaining your HP within a specified range also grants an additional ATK boost;[/p][p]② \[Colossus]: Increases your weapon’s barrage area and per‑shot damage. This effect is disabled when HP falls below a set threshold;[/p][p]③ \[Black Devourer]: At intervals, weapon hits create an absorbing black hole that deals damage equal to several times your weapon’s single‑shot damage, applies Vulnerable to enemies, and lasts for several seconds;[/p][p]④ \[Geomagnetic]: Weapon hits have a chance to trigger an electromagnetic blast that deals several times the normal damage.[/p][p]2. Brand-new, expanded Solvent Core modification features[/p][p]Four new Solvent Core play styles debut, offering richer and more diverse build and gameplay experiences![/p][p]● Joint Operation-Abyss[/p][p]1. New Boss challenges[/p][p]Three new boss challenges: Jupiter King, Tawan, and Electro Fluid Alien.[/p][p]2. New stage mechanics[/p][p]① Deep Space Dive: Commanders must pilot a transport ship to shoot down meteors and safely navigate an asteroid field, collect stellar energy, and activate a meteor cannon to deliver a deadly strike to the enemy fleet.[/p][p]② Skyship: Commanders must pilot a vanguard ship through enemy fire lines to pursue an enemy aerospace carrier. By collecting energy-charged ammunition, commanders can quickly break through the carrier’s defensive systems.[/p][p]3. Rewards upgrade[/p][p]① The treasure chest rewards unlocked after clearing Joint Operation-Abyss have been updated/upgraded. Each chest opening now guarantees a Mimetic Metal and a General Core Part;[/p][p]② Joint Operation-Abyss has a chance to drop a full epic weapon.[/p][p]③ Leaderboard rewards for Joint Operation-Abyss now include Mimetic Metal.[/p][p]④ Daily rewards for Joint Operation-Abyss have added a 4th reward. Claiming it grants Mimetic Metal and other goodies; to exchange for this reward you must clear Joint Operation-Abyss twice per day and spend 150 Sapphires.[/p][p]● Assemble! Joint Area Expansion[/p][p]① After the Season 5 update, war zones will be reconfigured and reassigned. Based on each server’s commander power, server launch time, active player counts, and other factors, multiple servers will be merged into a single war zone. Commanders will then encounter players from other servers within the warzone and compete against them![/p][p]② At the same time, the Season 5 Joint Area will be expanded. Commanders can check the exact expansion range in the in-game Club > Leaderboard screen. Commanders will be able to recruit teammates from more other servers to join clubs and fight together![/p][p]● New Cores[/p][p]Martian Walker core four-piece set: Increases maximum weapon ammo capacity. For every set amount of ammo consumed, the wearer’s damage is increased.[/p][p]● Hot Pursuit[/p][p]New stages unlocked for Chapters 151–170.[/p][p]● Weapon Display Stand[/p][p]Commanders will unlock the 5th slot when they reach level 170.[/p][p]● Club-Shootout Challenge: Eased Mechanics[/p][p]① Gameplay simplified: the first-phase reagent‑collection mechanic has been removed; the damage bonus that used to require collecting 70 reagent bottles in phase one now takes effect directly in the phase‑two boss stage.[/p][p]② Club Tech adjustment: the “Precise Remedy” effect that reduced damage from the poison mist has been changed to a global damage‑reduction effect.[/p][p]● Star Up/Character Tactics: Eased Mechanics[/p][p]After Season 5 starts, commanders can equip the same Weapon License on different weapons (a single weapon cannot have multiple copies of the same Weapon License). The same Weapon License can also be used to activate multiple Character Tactics skills.[/p][p]● Abyssal Rift: Eased Mechanics[/p][p]① Raid is now available for territory levels 2–5.[/p][p]② The number of territories required to unlock a territory’s Raid function has been reduced from 10 to 5.[/p][p]● Active Rewards Upgrade[/p][p]① Greatly increased the quantities of Military Cards, General Core Parts, Coins, and other items in Daily Mission rewards.[/p][p]② Increased the resource for the Wrecking Yard, Core Express, and Djinn of Wealth stages in the Arcade Carnival.[/p][p]● Prime Showdown Rewards Upgrade[/p][p]The monthly settlement reward “Fever Boxing Gun Fragment” has been upgraded to “Heavy Boxing Gun Fragment,” and the previous “Heavy Boxing Gun Fragment” reward has been upgraded to “Peace Slammer Fragment.”[/p][p]● Character Balance Adjustments in PvP[/p][p]We optimized the Prime Showdown experience and made balance changes to several Talent skills, some Characters, and certain weapons. Details are as follows:[/p][p]1. Prime Showdown Gameplay[/p][p]To address player feedback about instant defeats on contact, we increased character HP and vehicle HP in Prime Showdown by 40% and 20% respectively (compared to pre‑update values). We expect these changes to allow for more skillful and strategic play.[/p][p]2. Prime Showdown — Talent skill Updates[/p][p]To promote more diverse Talent skill usage, the following Talent skills were adjusted:[/p][p]① The summoned snowman’s ice projectile now travels faster and has improved tracking. Its hit now applies a stronger slow effect, though the slow duration has been reduced by 1 second.[/p][p]② Stealthy Smoke Screen now also grants a 40% evasion rate increase for 3 seconds while inside the smoke. The effect ends when leaving the smoke area;[/p][p]③ Transform into Snowman now additionally provides a continuous HP regeneration effect, healing a total of 10% of max HP.[/p][p]3. Character Balance Adjustments in PvP[/p][p]With recent updates, some veteran characters have seen their pick rates decline in PvP modes. To encourage greater team composition diversity, we've implemented balance adjustments for certain heroes, aiming to bring them back into the competitive spotlight.[/p][p]Details are as follows:[/p][p]① Marco Rossi's Ultimate – Bullet Time: Damage increases by 40%.[/p][p]② Nadia Cassel's Ultimate – Miracle Change: Impact DMG increases by 40%.[/p][p]③ Gru Kang's skill - Link Jabs: Damage increases by 30%. (Damage of the last blow increases by 45%.)[/p][p]④ Trevor Spacey's skill - Air Slash: Damage increases by 30%. Damage of the second kick increases by 20%.[/p][p]⑤ After casting Rolling Assault, Violet shoots with Penetrating Cannon and deals 30% more damage (No change to additional weapon single damage multiplier when using a Bazooka). The damage of Red Lotus Bomb increases by 20%.[/p][p]⑥ Lyla's Puffer Bomb: Damage increases by 15%.[/p][p]⑦ Kukik's Tactical Falcon: Damage increases by 25%.[/p][p]⑧ Tarma Roving's skill - Rebound Wrench, Stage 2: Tarma drives the motorbike and deals 45% more damage.[/p][p]We will continue to monitor character performance and make further optimizations, striving to create a fair PvP experience that maximizes the enjoyment of competitive battles for our Commanders.[/p][p]4. Weapon Balance Adjustments in PvP[/p][p]To offer commanders a greater choice of weapon combinations, we've enhanced the power of several existing weapons. Details are as follows:[/p][p]Flame Shot (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 25% in PvP.[/p][p]Gatling (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 20% in PvP.[/p][p]Bazooka (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 15% in PvP.[/p][p]Bow (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 10% in PvP.[/p][p]Heavy Sniper Rifle (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 20% in PvP.[/p][p]Freeze Gun (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 25% in PvP.[/p][p]Combo Shotgun (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 10% in PvP.[/p][p]Saw Launcher (Legendary or below): Damage increases by 10% in PvP.[/p][p]HMG: Damage increases by 20% in PvP.[/p][p]● Bug Fixes[/p][p]① Fixed an issue in Joint Operation: Abyss and the other modes where character's Ultimate was unable to use.[/p][p]② Fixed an issue in Joint Operation: Abyss and the other modes where Mech summon skill was unable to use.[/p][p]New Content[/p][p]● New Character: Martina[/p][p]The Season 5 Welcomes a new, rare Firepower Hero - Martina![/p][p]Spatial Manipulation and Cloning Abilities Add a New Dimension to the Chaotic Battlefield![/p][p]● New Rare Skin for Martina[/p][p]Available for Djinn Wishes starting from October 10.[/p][p]"The little white rabbits in the hat... Once the energy fill reaches 100%, the weapon can be upgraded.[/p][p]② The total amount of weapon fragments required for upgrading remains unchanged before and after the update.[/p][p]③ Mimetic Metal is applicable to all weapons Star-up.[/p][p]3. Season Weapon Upgrade Benefits:[/p][p]① When upgrading the new S5 Dual-Wielding SMG, Commanders can receive rewards including Alloy Pickaxes and Mimetic Metal through the Weapon Advance.[/p][p]②Upon obtaining the new Legendary Weapon released this season, Commanders can directly claim all rewards for the Epic Weapons of that category within the Weapon Advance.
