🚨MAJOR Update 0.9 | Halloween is here!🎃

Attention Recruits,

Welcome to the final chapter of our three-part update series. Introducing the Halloween major update. This chapter packs a punch.

But first of all, Pharma Corps would like to extend its gratitude to the more than 280,000 divers! Your commitment and bravery have been essential in our mission, but there’s still plenty of evidence lurking in the depths that needs to be removed. We are excited to welcome new recruits as we continue to expand our ranks and tackle these challenges together. Thank you for being an integral part of the Pharma Corps family!
Halloween 🎃
Pharma Corps has given your submarines a seasonal upgrade. We've decorated your working environment for Halloween—expect ghost sightings, lots of skulls, pumpkins, and candles, and more unsettling surprises around every corner. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, but remember, the dangers lurking in the deep haven’t taken a holiday.
NEW BIOME - The Forgotten City
Pharma Corps is reopening access to a long-lost site—Atlantis, the Forgotten City. We discovered the ruins of this ancient civilization years ago and, seeing its potential, set up experimental labs throughout its submerged halls and temples. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and our operations went dark after… *unforeseen complications.* Now, Atlantis lies in decay, its once-grand structures overtaken by the ocean, with traces of our failed experiments haunting its waters. Tread carefully, recruits—Atlantis is packed with traps and holds secrets and dangers that even we couldn’t contain.
Infinite Depths
Gone are the days of maximum depth limits—now, you can plunge infinitely into the abyss. The way depth works has been completely redesigned. Divers will now use a touch screen displaying a vertical depth meter and a next zone choice.

The depth meter is where you can track your submarine’s current depth and check how close the Police Squadron is. The threat level is indicated by three danger levels: green (you're far enough), orange (Police are getting closer), and red (Police are nearly on you—BIG danger). Upgrading the station to go deeper will help you put some distance between you and the pursuing squadron!

The Next Zone Choice system is meant to push your diving strategy even further. Each biome is now split into levels from 1 to 5, with higher levels bringing tougher challenges, more dangerous terrain, and deadlier creatures. You’ll see your current zone and the amount of energy needed to go deeper. Fill the energy bar using batteries found during expeditions or at the Black Market, and you’ll get to choose between two zones for your next dive. Once you make your choice, the submarine descends, and a new energy bar appears, demanding more power for each deeper step.
Reworked Submarine and Depth Upgrades
Major Update 2 introduces significant changes to how stations work. Previously, you could purchase CDs from the vending machine to upgrade your stations and increase maximum dive depth. This system has been completely reworked: CDs have been replaced by batteries, which can be found during expeditions. As such, think wisely about what to search for! These batteries store energy that is used to power receivers (replacing the old PS5s). When a receiver is fully charged, you unlock the corresponding upgrade or gain access to the next depth level.

This new system presents divers with a crucial choice—invest in ship upgrades to make your expeditions safer and easier, or venture deeper for greater rewards and to "outdive" the Police closing in.
More Dangers Lurking Below
The legend of Atlantis speaks of an ancient creature—In the depths of Atlantis, a creature known as the Selfish Sun wanders, drawn to lights. It gathers brilliance into its hidden trove, casting shadows in its wake. Disturb its treasures, and you may awaken a blinding fury. Tread carefully: will you embrace the darkness or dare to reclaim the lost glow?

Pharma Corps' intelligence services have identified a new gadget in the Police’s arsenal—The Police Drone. This high-tech surveillance device is designed to monitor and track divers. Once you reach 2 or more stars, these drones will become active, scanning the area for any signs of trouble. If they spot you, they will attempt to escape and alert the authorities, escalating the situation.
An Extended Wardrobe
Pharma Corps is excited to unveil five new diving suits—three Halloween-themed and two Atlantis-inspired designs. We know that style matters, even in the darkest depths, and we’re committed to giving divers more ways to express themselves. Dress to impress, no matter the mission!
Reworked End-game Report
We have implemented a new animated sequence where the Police bust in and arrest your team during a mission gone wrong. The scene then shifts to a mugshot lineup showing your whole crew in random poses, with your game stats clearly displayed. So, put on your best smile for the camera!—and remember, Pharma Corps will not be paying any bail so you better not get caught...
New Items
Pharma Corps' R&D team is excited to unveil our latest innovations! We’ve introduced two new modules: the Shell, boosting your health points to 200, and the CaptainMic, which allows communication with everyone, regardless of distance, and recharges automatically.
Voice Chat Improvements
• Speaking indicator: now each skin has an element that lights up on the face when you are speaking to make it clearer for everyone
 • Reworked Sound Attenuation system: walls now obstruct sound better
 • Dead divers can hear each other better
 • EMP voice effect volume is now lower
Improvements
• Some body parts are now still alive and move a bit (no change in gameplay)
 • Collision in navigation now empties the net depending on damage
 • Submarine net capacity depends on the submarine size (2: 2/4 slots, 4: 3/6, 8: 4/8)

If you’re still here, congratulations! Your dedication as a diver has not gone unnoticed by Pharma Corps. We appreciate your commitment to our mission. Remember, this second major update is packed with thrilling new features, and time is of the essence! So, gear up and dive into the depths—there’s no time to waste. Thank you for being an integral part of the Pharma Corps family!

All the best,
Pharma Corps Management

🚨Update 0.8 | 5-8 people submarine, new location & creature 🚨

Attention Recruits,

We are presenting you the second part of our three-part update series. STAY TUNED for the final MAJOR chapter of our Halloween series coming October 28!

This chapter brings, among other additions, one of the most requested features of Murky Divers.
5-8 People Submarines
Pharma Corps noticed that some of you heavily requested the option to play with a vast amount of people. As they say, strength comes in numbers, and the fewer people we must report missing taking a break, the happier our HR department will be. Therefore, we're introducing a new type of larger submarine suited to host up to 8 divers at the same time. Murky Divers now supports each player's preference:
 • 1-2 people / Small submarine
 • 3-4 people / Medium submarine
 • 5-8 people / Large submarine
New Location
A couple of weeks ago, Pharma Corps introduced a new location The Black Market which was very well received. Believe it or not, our scouting team just picked up a new location on the sonar and received a cryptic message "A familiar signal pulses beneath the waves, but not all paths lead where you expect. In the silent deep, something watches—dare to approach, and you may return unchanged... or marked in ways unseen."
New Creature
New creatures keep appearing during expeditions. This time one of Pharma Corps' most innovative experiments broke free was released: The Crocsaw - part crocodile, part chainsaw.
Bugfixes
• Resolved vent collision issues
 • Fixed a bug where players would respawn in unintended locations
 • Corrected floating buttons that appeared during procedural generation
 • Enemies can no longer attack through walls
 • Fixed incorrect noise display in the 1-2 player submarine
 • Spawn rate of dangerous Police entities in navigation is lower
 • The submarine net now keeps its content after visiting the Black Market
 • Fixed the disappearance of memes on sticky notes in submarines
 • Fixed a bug that could softlock players in the shower in 1-2 player submarines
 • Fixed player name sometimes not displaying correctly
 • Fixed a crash caused by mines
 • Fixed several bugs related to HUD, pop-ups, and menus
Recap of what has been added and what's still to come
STAY TUNED for the final MAJOR chapter of our Halloween series coming October 28!

All the best,
Pharma Corps Management

🚨Update 0.7 | 1-2 player submarines are here 🚨

Attention Recruits,

The spooky season is upon us. With Halloween just around the corner, we are presenting you the first of a three-part update series. Chapter One brings some heavily requested additions to Murky Divers.
One/Two Person Submarine
Pharma Corps noticed that some of you prefer the solitude of the ocean or the strength of a dynamic duo dive. Therefore, we're introducing a new type of smaller submarine suited to your dive-style preferences.
Improved Onboarding
Our intelligence department witnessed some recruits struggling with the basic mechanics of operating the submarine and navigating to expedition sites. To solve this, we've improved our onboarding to enhance the ease of understanding the core loop:
 • Redesign of stations and information displays for the sonar, narrow-band, net, collision display, lever, propulsor, torpedo launcher
 • In-game tutorials with hints and conditional states to help guide players
 • Overhaul of the submarine interior design
 • Removed unnecessary information
New Creature
Last but not least, we added a new creature to the depths of Murky Divers: The Murderer.
Pricing and Roadmap
As announced in the previous update, the decision was made to set the price to $7.99 (regional pricing for different countries). Murky Divers has evolved significantly since its release: a new biome, more creatures, diving suits, locations such as the Black Market, new items and modules, and much more still to come. We even added an underwater scooter! In summary, Murky Divers has seen significant additions and improvements since its launch!
Recap of what has been added and what's still to come
It all started out with our first major update bringing a ton of new things:

 • New biome: caves
 • New items: scooter, agent NUTS, bait
 • New stations: torpedo, laundry
 • Introducing swimming suits
 • Controller support

🚨Update 0.6 | Friday the 13th 🚨

Attention Recruits,

Gifts given with care, yield great returns

Introducing The Trader, a mysterious figure operating the Black Market from a Sea Giant's belly. The Trader holds the key to a range of valuable items—if you can earn its favor.

But heed this warning: the stakes are high. Disturb the Trader's peace, and you’ll face consequences that even Pharma Corps can’t fix. Gift wisely, and you might find yourself equipped with the tools you need for your next mission.
Additions
• New destination: Black Market. Reachable during navigation. Ducks are crucial.
 • New suit Nier Duckomata, buyable at the Black Market
 • Added a mirror inside the sub to check your best outfits
Improvements
• Sound and microphone now still work when the game isn't in focus
 • Display name tags (togglable in settings)
 • Display object of collision when navigating
 • Added a fire button on the torpedo station
 • Better vision when carrying bulky items
 • Performance improvements

We would like to thank all of our loyal crew members for their continued support. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today.

Our goals with Murky Divers are far from complete but the game has evolved significantly over these past months with a large amount of new content (new biome, new monsters, diving suits, and many more). The decision was made to increase the base price from $5.99 to $7.99 on the 26th of September which brings us on par with the games in our niche. As such, make sure to grab your copy now!

Pharma Corps has wild plans for its employees. More info coming (very) soon!

All the best,
Pharma Corps Management
