We've finished porting the game to the latest graphics engine version (Ogre3D) and to the latest compiler.
This version should run about 37% faster in frame rate than the previous version. I know we don't need optimizations since this game is quite fast and smooth even on old graphics video cards but we needed to modernize our development tools.

We are back after a very nice vacations :)

This is geek post.
During July & August, besides being in the beach, I was updating our development tools. Since we're not using a game engine it is quite complex to update. We use Ogre3D as graphics engine and many external libraries so upgrading the graphics engine and compiler takes a lot of work and a lot of coding to make it work.

We have the game running with Direct3D11 (before it was only possible on OpenGL and Direct3D9) but some things has broken, dust particles, skid marks, texture shadows, etc.

Hi everyone !
We're almost writing this post in the beach ! I'm dying go on vacations you know... palm trees, cold beers, ocean waves, etc....

This is a very small update, a new car version: "Monster buggybob"



This car will be used in the championships of course.

During the next months we will be upgrading most of our software and external libraries, so we will be busy re-compiling the project and upgrading assets.

Two new features are in the horizon right now:
- Use steam messages to let you know when a friend has overtaken you in the championships
- Real-time online

We have a new version :) this time we are adding a levels based game mode (Campain) these are the specs for this first version:

Campain mode

• 24 levels in 3 different worlds: Valle de punilla, Tinogasta, Calamuchita
  
• 3 new tracks: chancani, fiambala, la cumbre
  
• after completing each world you unlock a new skin (can be used in championships)
  
• 3 ghosts for each level: gold, silver, bronze
  
• player will have statistics for each level
  
• compete against game ghosts and your own best ghost for each level

xaagon, Pierre Nodoyuna, javimod and RETROALEX did a great fight all the Round with a very strong RETROALEX wining 3 competitions and a surprisingly javimod wining 1 also!! Congrats!!!

Also was great to see back on track former champion and creator of the pyramid track we race here at the Championship Ohhh Banana !! He is at a close fight for the 5th place with our always improving Susiquiu

And welcome to the Championship to wilcampe00 and MaC!! feel free to ask any question you guys have
