1) PWX Leaks!
**********
This is the week in which the universe showed us just how little control we have over...almost anything. Secret in-development material was leaked. Accidentally, in most cases. And certainly not maliciously in any case. Partnerships have been revealed before planned announcements. Secret pitches are no longer so secret. Upcoming PWX features have been revealed before we’ve even prototyped them. I ain’t bitching. Honestly, nothing has been revealed that we’re not INSANELY proud of. I just thought we had a bit more time to get our ducks in a row.

I’m happy to answer any questions you guys have in the comments. So I’ll spare you a long winded narrative and just give the honest bullet points:

- I did a pilot for a YouTube interview show, RideCar Superstar, and shared with their video editor an internal directory of various PWX video footage including footage of stuff we haven’t even announced yet. They used some of the secret stuff. And in their defense I can’t recall explicitly telling them which files to guard with their lives. Dammit. Or is it? Fuck it. We’re proud of it all: https://youtu.be/CkUtT_HYZ2k

- New IRL characters and moves you see there are done and getting prepped for release. And you’re going to have to live in a very specific part of the world to know who we’re talking about. Video may have been leaked but we ain’t making it easy for you just yet ;)

- That new match type? Not playable yet. Ya want it to be?

- AEW? Allow me to explain...

2) Pic of the Week
**************
This weeks newsletter is accompanied by a one of the screenshots we sent to AEW. You’ve probably seen it by now. You’ve probably also heard rumors about an AEW game being developed and did a 1+1 calculation assuming it equals PWX working with AEW. Depending on your worldview I have good/bad news for you. We aren’t officially working with AEW at this time. Yes, we did reach out and send them media through various legit channels showing what we could do to develop an AEW game with the AKI feel they love and want. Call it “concept art”. It’s all actual in-game stuff showing their brand, main eventer finishers, etc., and not just bullshit Photoshop mockups. It’s all playable. Now. The crew cranked hard on showing AEW what we can do. I can honestly say that people with influential decision making power in AEW on more than one front have seen our pitch. And at this time I can also honestly say that AEW has not expressed serious interest in partnering with us. As of today. But as of now, please know that that AEW stuff you’ve seen is from us but ONLY as a pitch to AEW and it in no way indicates that we are working with them. Want to see these screenshots become a reality? AEW knows how to reach me. And we would kill for the opportunity.

3) Quote of The Week
*****************
John Marston: Sounds like good country
Sadie Atler: All country’s good. It’s folks that are bad.

4) Question of the Week
*******************
How many different indie wrestling games have you purchased? I have a theory that us indie developers don’t compete between each other. That most indie wrestling game owners have purchased at least two indie wrestling games. Action Arcade Wrestling, MDickie games, 5 Star Wrestling, etc.

In the meantime and in between time, that's it, another edition of
Wrestling Gamers United.
