Hotfix #02 - v0.3.5.84223 & Official Wiki.gg opening!
Ahoy adventurers!
With a little more than a week under our bellies, we’re releasing a slew of fixes and polishes that we already started working on before EA release. While the Character Creator changes aren’t part of it yet, rest assured that we are working on them - in fact, we’re aiming to release them in our next content patch sometime in April!
Solasta II Wiki is now live!
If you’ve played a CRPG before, you know how important good Wikis can be to find all the information you’re looking for. Fans of the first opus created one for our previous game on Fandom (big thanks to all contributors, and especially Fabula Rasa for doing such a large part of the work), and we wanted to help our community by asking Wiki.gg to open one for Solasta II this time.
And so… the Solasta II wiki is now live! Of course it’s still pretty empty at the moment, so if you want to help out you can add or complete an article here and there when you have the time. We’ve also created a special wiki channel on our official Discord server for you to reach out to us in case you need specific information, icons and the like to help improve the wiki.
Thank you everyone, together let’s fill that wiki up!
v0.3.5.84223 Changelist
As a reminder we’re still fixing bugs and crashes as we find them, but if you find yourself unable to play make sure you check out our Support website https://www.solasta-game.com/support, especially the articles about the game not starting and Intel CPU crashes. If none of those correspond to your issues, send us a ticket through the system and let us know your config, it will help getting to the bottom of it.
v0.3.5.84223 Changelist
- Improved performances in Caer Mar and Ferendragh
- Fixed Vsync not overriding Frame Rate Cap
- Fixed boats being constantly flooded by waves. Pretty sure that’s not how boats work.
- Fixed a very annoying bug that made some save files crash on load.
- Fixed being able to catapult yourself out of bound by climbing on Spike Traps in Lost Treasure. How do you even find those?!
- Fixed some instances of enemies getting stuck while moving and suddenly teleporting after a while.
- Fixed not being able to interact with the Rest firecamp in the Siklas Temple when in Direct Control mode (WASD)
- Fixed not being able to select Load Save after a game over on gamepad. Guess it was ironman mode by default for you pad users out there…
- In the same vein, fixed not being able to create new save files and only being able to overwrite existing ones when playing on gamepad
- Fixed a couple of other interactions with the environment that were not placed properly.
- Fixed merchants sometimes not being there in the shopping screen. Trust system all the way.
- Fixed items in shops only showing 1/1 quantity when buying them even if the merchant has multiple in stock.
- Fixed bits and bobs in a few cutscenes, such as your armor suddenly disappearing in the first cutscene after arriving in Neokos (a bit awkward eh?)
- Fixed a few localization errors, the biggest ones being the Polish font missing a few characters and some tags being incorrectly processed (there are still some more $distance() that we need to hunt down). Note to those who submitted tickets about localization: We are working on including the changes in our next patch, thanks for helping us improve the game’s quality!
- Fixed a couple of instances where shoving enemies into spikes wouldn’t do any damage.
- Fixed one crab in the duct sometimes being able to fall through the ground (poor crab)
- Fixed monsters sometimes skipping their turn if they were near too many unconscious or dying characters. All that senseless violence affects them too.
- Fixed Shadowcaster Rogue sneak attack not being improved to +2d6 at level 3.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when changing Graphic Settings preset while on the world map.
- Fixed Jebfa being unable to cast some of her own spells. She apparently forgor.
- Fixed Heterochromia not being properly saved upon Character Creation - this fix is unfortunately not retroactive (does not fix existing characters).
- Fixed Divine Smite and other additional effects that apply upon hitting a target not doing anything if you clicked too quickly. Wait, what?
- Fixed being able to sell Flaming Boots cosmetic (Supporter Pack) to merchants. Those are for looks, not for gold!
- Fixed Supporter Pack items having a weight. Now supporting us financially shall no longer penalize your backpacks.
- Fixed the model of enemies appearing distorted in Low Setting when zoomed out.
- Fixed being able to sequence break the Custom Inspections sidequest by looting the ship before talking to the captain. You loot goblins!
