[h2]We’ve heard your feedback.[/h2][p]Due to many complaints, we dropped Epic’s networking and are now using Steam’s to resolve connection issues. This is still in public beta testing, so please try it out and make sure to fill out the form found in the main menu to report any latency or connectivity issues.[/p][p]If you still encounter any problems connecting or creating an in-game lobby, please join our discord channel and let us know about the issue. • [p]To celebrate, we’ve released an overhauled demo with a new environment unique to Separated, new animations, an updated engine, and medal achievements.[/p]

[h3]v0.3.0 Demo Changes[/h3][p]Big Changes:[/p][p]- The entire environment has been remade with a fresh, distinctive design unique to Separated.[/p][p]- Refined AI animation behavior to fit the redesigned environment.[/p][p]- Upgraded the game’s Unreal Engine version, voice chat plugin, and network plugin to the more stable Unreal Engine 5.6.[/p][p]- Added three achievements: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals — challenge yourself now![/p][p]- Added Walkie-Talkie and held item display on screen.
[/p][p]Small Changes:[/p][p]- Improved the Ghost Girl’s head rotation so she faces her target point before moving.[/p][p]- Added logs in shipping builds to help with debugging issues.[/p][p]- Deleted the Global Illumination save file if found, reset it to default, and removed it from the settings menu.[/p][p]- Removed the “25 Rescues” achievement.[/p][p]- Added a hint that triggers once per session after 30 seconds if a player doesn’t save their friend.[/p][p]- Enhanced the Ghost Girl’s blind animations.
[/p][p]Bug Fixes:[/p][p]- Fixed a microphone crash that occurred in certain cases.[/p][p]- Fixed the “I hear you” audio playing after opening the main doors.[/p]

We're excited to announce a new round of playtesting! We've updated the level design to better match the Ghost's behavior, and we'd love for you to test it before it goes live. You can apply using the form here.[/p][p]Rewards for playtesters who complete all requirements:
