We've made a lot of improvements to the game since launch. Today we're bringing that love to the demo with an update that brings the demo up to par with the full game. We hope players trying out the game will enjoy the improved experience.
And all progress in the demo now carries over directly to the full game! So have fun, and if you get the full game, all your work will be there to keep playing.

  • [p] The Start Menu has been refreshed![/p]
  • [p] More Save Slots! Extra room for all your parks and creations. [/p]
  • [p] Added shadows to placement highlights when building to help with depth perception. [/p]
  • [p] Introduced a new Egg Chair and Sticks in a Jar decoration. [/p]
  • [p] Quest descriptions have larger text and can now be scrolled using the mouse wheel or the right thumbstick on a controller. [/p]
  • [p] Updated some controller icons for better clarity.[/p]
  • [p] Mineable resin chunks will now respawn, and you'll find more of them scattered throughout the world.[/p]

  • [p] Fixed a crash when quitting the game when windows were still loading. [/p]
  • [p] Built windows and doors now load properly during startup, reducing temporary performance drops. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed Steam Deck resolution issues. [/p]
  • [p] Quest log squirrel icons now correctly match their colors in Squirrel Vision. [/p]
  • [p] Claire is now properly in focus during her dialogues. [/p]
  • [p] Walls now rebuild correctly after demolishing doors and windows. [/p]
  • [p] The "Jump" mound no longer respawns after reloading the game. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed multiple acorn branches spawning on top of each other. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed squirrel animation blending issues [/p]
  • [p] Fixed camera collision with water surfaces. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed an issue where the camera could clip underwater. [/p]
  • [p] Resolved main menu issues with credits unexpectedly exiting the game. [/p]
  • [p] Improved controller/mouse focus interactions in menus. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed so that the 'Back' button in various menus can now be properly clicked using the mouse. [/p]
  • [p] All building blocks are now visually highlighted when hovered over. [/p]
  • [p] Various bugs related to player camera and controller behavior during building mode have been addressed.[/p]
  • [p]Improved UI readability on 16:10 aspect ratio screens, particularly for Steam Deck users.[/p]
  • [p]Corrected a minor visual issue with an icon.[/p]
  • [p] Fixed an issue where sanctuary restoration rewards and achievements could be missed if the player quit during the animation. [/p]
  • [p] Language selection is now available on first-time startup when using a controller. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed an issue that allowed players to craft duplicate tools at the workbench. [/p]
  • [p] The health bar now updates properly after sleeping. [/p]

  • [p] No more blocked windows and doors! We’ve cleared out those pesky walls getting in the way of your view. [/p]
  • [p] Fixed a bug where climbing wasn’t functioning properly with controllers. [/p]
  • [p] Inverted Y-axis setting will now be persistent between loadings. [/p]
  • [p] We squashed a bug that made the interact prompt act up when respawning or using "Unstuck." Now it’ll behave itself! . [/p]
  • [p] Bushes now have even occlusion settings. No more weird clipping! [/p]
  • [p] Floating resin, mushrooms, and clovers? Gone! They’re back on solid ground.. [/p]
