Demo Release & Exploring Earth

Earth - A deep dive into your first orbit
Hello everyone!
[p][/p][p]The demo of Orbiteers is now live! You can download it on the Orbiteers store page and play all three Earth levels for free. [/p][p]We'd love to hear your thoughts on either Discord or the Steam forums. Your feedback helps us improve the game before launch![/p][p]In the rest of this blog post, we'll look at Orbiteers' first level and highlight it's unique mechanics.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Earth - The home of all humanity
[p][/p][p]The view from orbit is just amazing right? Everyone thats ever lived was born there, but who knows how long that will hold true...[/p][p][/p][p]Your first stop in conquering our solar system is our home planet: Earth! The big blue marble should be home to a variety of powerful stations producing L.U.N.A. Alloy, but what exactly is this alloy?[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
L.U.N.A. Alloy
[p]Recently, L.U.N.A. invented a revolutionary new quantum-metal alloy, and decided to call it after herself. This alloy allows the construction of many different modules and cutting-edge machines that will help all Orbiteers on their mission of conquering the solar system.[/p][p][/p][p]Due to it's intricate nature, producing it on earth is nearly impossible. As such L.U.N.A. suggested the construction of multiple large scale orbital factories to meet the new demand. Shipments of material will be handled by the already-built station core, your job will be the construction of a station, able to support multiple advanced L.U.N.A. Alloy factories.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Special modules
[p]For every orbit a special module has been designed by Mission Control. They will be crucial for the success of the mission. Special modules always require L.U.N.A. Alloy to construct.[/p]

[p]L.U.N.A. Alloy Factory - Earth's special module[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Alternate Levels
[p]On top of the regular levels, every orbit comes with two bonus levels that serve as an alternate version with higher difficulty. Not only are they more challenging, but they also contain completely different mission objectives. The demo contains the levels A-1, A-2 and A-3.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
The Earth levels are playable for free right now!

Download the demo today!
[p][/p][p]Thank you for your support,[/p][p]The Orbiteers Developers[/p]

Orbits
Earth
L.U.N.A. has invented a revolutionary new material, and the ideal place to produce it is the vacuum of space. Many ingredients need to be shipped from Earth, making its orbit the best place to set up the factory.
Moon
The Moon's orbit is home to the remains of the first failed space station. Reclaiming the old station could yield invaluable data on structural decay in orbit.
Mars
The red planet is humanity’s best hope for a second home. The construction of a space elevator will reduce transport costs and support colonization efforts.
Saturn
Saturn’s rings are a goldmine – literally. Cutting-edge tech enables us to harvest the vast quantities of metal drifting in orbit, essential for humanity’s ambitions.
Neptune
The edge of the solar system holds the key to interstellar travel. Neptune’s composition is perfect for automated fuel production – if the station can withstand the extreme conditions.
In the coming months, we'll explore each planet and their unique gameplay in detail.
