Gamescom 2025 Recap: Serial World’s first time overseas!

Hi, everyone! 👋
[p]After all of the excitement at Gamescom, we needed some time to hibernate and rest, but now we’re back and more ready than ever to jump into Serial World’s development again![/p][p][/p]
Thank you to everyone who played Serial World at Gamescom!
[p][/p][p][/p][p]It was so much fun seeing players experience our game in real life, and this was our very first time traveling overseas! You made our first event so memorable, and gave us so much encouragement, feedback, and support. We can’t thank you enough!
[/p][p]Rocking matching Serial World shirts with some of our friends from our publisher, Kakehashi Games! (Takashi is second from left, and Sho is far right.)[/p][p][/p]
It was hard to narrow down what our favorite memories from Gamescom were, but here’s a little story from each of us on what stuck with us most:
[p][/p][p]"A particular memory that stands out for me is a child who played our game four times! He kept challenging the game, with his mother watching over him kindly from behind. This is something we often see at events in Japan, and it really made me feel like Serial World has the potential to reach people all over the world, just as it does in Japan. [/p][p]At the end, he told me, "I want to be the first person in the world to play this game when it's released!" I was really moved by that, and it's become a great source of encouragement for our future development. Just you wait, my German friend! (I wish I had asked for his name!)" - Sho (Artist)[/p][p][/p][p]"It was a pleasure to see such a wide range of people, from kids to adults, playing our game throughout Gamescom. I had been worried that the deck-building genre, with its many rules and text, would only appeal to a niche audience of core gamers, but after seeing people actually play the game, I felt reassured that it could be enjoyed by anyone!" - Takashi (Programmer)[/p][p][/p][p]Now that we’ve gotten some proper rest and recovered from our flights home (13+ hours!! 😵), we’re ready to take everything we learned at Gamescom and make Serial World even more fun for you all![/p][p][/p]
We’ll see you real soon with more updates! Bye for now! 🚪
[p][/p][p]
