Bugtopia Update 1.0.1 Patch Notes
Hello to all the new bug keepers!
Bugtopia is officially out now—thank you all for playing! We've already spotted some in-game issues and released an urgent v1.0.1 patch to address them.
In addition, we've compiled answers to several frequently asked questions. We've also received tons of great suggestions and feedback—thank you! We'll be sharing an update roadmap soon, including upcoming features and content.
[h3]Can I skip the tutorial?[/h3]
Yes! Press T in-game to skip the tutorial manually. After completing the tutorial once, you can unlock and sell the Guide. (Don't worry—you can always bring it back later by buying a return ticket!)
[h3]Can I carry over my demo save to the full version?[/h3]
Saves are not directly compatible, but you can inherit your demo currency by going to the bottom-right corner of the main menu:
Settings → Function → Load Demo Save Files.
If you unlocked and bought the Spiky Isopod in the demo, you'll also receive an exclusive landscaping item in the full version!
[h3]Why can’t I feed bugs in the pupal stage anymore?[/h3]
To better reflect real-life ecosystems, pupae in the full version no longer eat feed! (It’s a design choice—not a bug~)
If you run into other bugs or issues, you can go to:
Settings (bottom-right corner or ESC) → Function → Bug
and fill out the bug report form.

- Fixed incorrect bug descriptions
- Fixed missing fonts in certain places
- Fixed specific animation errors
- Fixed tutorial issues caused by tool purchases
- Fixed tutorial issues caused by interaction animations
- Fixed an issue where certain special cases in the tutorial could cause the player to get completely stuck
