We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and have immediately begun investigating the issue.[/p][p][/p][p]At this time, we are unable to confirm whether the problem stems from Steam Cloud sync errors or a bug in the game's save system. To ensure your gameplay experience is not affected, we’ve released an emergency update enabling local auto-backup for save files. If you encounter save issues, you can quickly restore your data by following the steps below.[/p][p][/p][h2]How to Restore Backup Saves[/h2][p][/p][h3]Step 1: Locate the Save File Directory[/h3][p]Path:[/p][p]C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Nocturnal Games\Bugtopia[/p][p]Or click Open Save Folder from the in-game menu.[/p][p][/p][h3]Step 2: Delete the Corrupted Save File[/h3][p]Find the current (broken) save file named:[/p][p]SaveFile.es3[/p][p]Delete it manually.[/p][p][/p][h3]Step 3: Enable Local Backup Save[/h3][p]The files SaveFile_Backup_xx.es3 are local backups.[/p][p]Choose one and rename it to:[/p][p]SaveFile.es3[/p][p][/p][p]
