Bugtopia Update 1.0.3 Patch Notes
Happy weekend, bug keepers!
Our dev bugs have been hard at work this weekend too, addressing the issues many of you have encountered. Several frequently reported problems have now been fixed, including some improvements to the breeding box functionality. Let’s take a look at what’s been updated!
You can now hide the default rocks in the Terrarium!
However, before saving your decoration setup, you must place at least one item that provides an arboreal path. See the image below for details.

If you run into other bugs or issues, you can go to:
Settings (bottom-right corner or ESC) → Function → Bug
and fill out the bug report form.

- Fixed several scientific name and Wiki errors — thanks to the players who pointed them out!
- Fixed missing fonts in certain text
- Fixed incorrect icons for some landscaping items
- Fixed missing synergy effects in certain cases
- Fixed a freeze issue in the breeding box tutorial
- Fixed a freeze issue when tutorial prompts appear
Optimizations
- Adjusted the position of the lock button
- Improved bug placement in the breeding box
- Expanded the clickable area for bug eggs
- Refined bug layering/display hierarchy
- Adjusted fog transparency and duration
- Improved animations for certain bugs
- Fixed an issue where bottom-dwelling bugs in EcoBox 2 could walk off-screen
- Improved the Pomodoro timer’s visual mask
- Made golden bugs easier to click
- Updated the icon for the exit button in landscaping mode
New Feature: Show/Hide Default Rocks
