Demo Version Update Announcement

The demo version of the game has been updated to the latest version, bringing significant adjustments and fixes to improve your gameplay experience![/p][p]Important:[/p][p]*In this update, the save system has been changed compared to the previous version. As a result, door states and skull panel destruction progress will be reset for those currently playing.   • Adjusted so that events will be triggered by pressing the Up key.
  • Assigned the swim command to the same button as jump.
  • Adjusted the screen to scroll slightly downward when crouching.
  • Added the ability to move the map when zoomed in on the map menu.
  • Enhanced the visibility of vines that players can cling to and move along.

Hello everyone!

The October edition of Steam Next Fest has officially begun!🎉
This time around, the nostalgic metroidvania from way back in the day, “THE GOOD OLD DAYS” will be featured as a playable demo!

[h3]📮THE GOOD OLD DAYS - Game Introduction[/h3]

”The days we can’t get back shine the brightest”

Set in the rural town of Arostia in the year 19XX, young go-getter Sean and his ensemble of like-minded buddies band together to form The Noogies, a hopeful gang that dream of one day striking it out on a real adventure together.

On one most frightful occasion returning home, Sean is confronted by a dastardly loan shark lying in wait.

The loan shark reveals he has imprisoned Sean’s friends and makes a ludicrous demand that outstanding debts left by his absent father must be repaid in full by the end of the day…

Despite the precarious situation, a burst of excitement erupts within Sean. Finally!

The opportunity for a true adventure! Will Sean be able to save his friends and repay the debt!?

[h3]💣Objectives[/h3]
You can clear the game successfully by repaying the debt within the time limit.
The objective of this demo version is to collect $30,000, and the expected play time to complete the game is from 1 to 2 hours.

Raise money and pay off your debts in a variety of ways!
Many ways to make money exist.

For example...
・Uncover the money hidden throughout the map
・Play minigames
・Try your hand at the lottery
・Defeat bosses and collect the money prize

There are even more ways to earn money, so explore the dungeons and discover them for yourself!
