We are pleased to announce that starting today, December 23rd, 2024, we have released the first round of downloadable content (DLC) that would allow players to enjoy a variety of outfits for the characters for our popular new RPG, "FAIRY TAIL 2"

In this round, the “Erza Outfit: ‘Miss FAIRY TAIL Contest’,” a free DLC Outfit based on the “Miss FAIRY TAIL Contest” episode from the original series is also available.



Furthermore, as paid DLC, we have released the “Special Outfit Set: ‘Luxury Restaurant,’” inspired by the "8-Island" restaurant from the original series; the “Special Outfit Set: ‘Happy Wedding,’” featuring wedding-themed dresses and tuxedos; and the “Special Outfit Set: ‘Fairy School,’” which includes blazers and school uniforms for a school-themed experience. Additionally, the “Special Outfit: Complete Set,” which includes all three outfit sets, will come with a purchase bonus of two "Special Photo Frames" that can be used in Photo Mode.



[h3]Additional Playable Characters "Jellal," "Mavis," and "Zeref" Are Set to Be Released in 2025![/h3]
Additionally, we would like to inform you that the new characters scheduled for release on February 13th, 2025, and March 13th, 2025, will be "Jellal," "Mavis," and "Zeref." These additional characters can be enjoyed through the Season Pass or purchased individually.

This new RPG depicts the "Alvarez Empire Arc," the climactic final arc of the original series. We have revamped the in-game systems and graphics from the previous installment, offering more spectacular and exhilarating real-time magical battles and expansive fields that players can explore seamlessly. Additionally, players can enjoy character interactions unique to this game along with, after completing the main story, an entirely original game story titled "The Key to the Unknown" unfolding over four extensive chapters!

The first will be released on December 23rd, 2024 featuring the “Special Outfit: Complete Set” and “Erza Outfit: ‘Miss FAIRY TAIL Contest’” among others. Additionally, from January onwards, we plan to release the “Bonus Scenario: ‘FAIRY TAIL Hot Springs’” along with other items such as the “Outfit Set: ‘Swimsuit’”.

A Season Pass is also available to purchase and will include a bonus scenario that pays homage to the “Battle of FAIRY TAIL” where guild members battle to see who is the strongest. The Season Pass also includes an arena where you can re-challenge bosses, more playable characters, alternative costumes for Erza and Wendy, and more.

Fairy Tail 2, game developer Gust’s second (and most likely final) video game adaptation of Hiro Mashima’s long-running manga and anime series, Fairy Tail, is now available for public consumption, meaning that fans of the first game can finally continue their interactive adventures in Fiore Kingdom in with Dragon Slayer Natsu Igneel, Wizard Lucy Heartfilia, Exceed Happy the Cat and the rest of “Team Natsu” after a 4-year-long wait.

Fairy Tale 2 effectively retells the “Alvarez Empire Arc” from the original manga and anime—which aired in anime form on Crunchyroll in December of 2018 and served as the mainline series’ final chapter (although there has been a prequel, sequel, OVAs and two feature film spin-offs in the years since). Much like in the first Fairy Tail game, zero time is wasted catching players up on the series’ 10 years of backstory.

In the battles of this title, members of Fairy Tail guild such as Cana and Levy, as well as characters from outside the guild like Jellal, Sting, and Rogue, can join the fight as support characters. By meeting certain conditions during combat, they can help by healing allies or attacking enemies. Additionally, as battles heat up, you can use "Extreme Magic", which significantly impacts both allies and enemies.



[h3]Details about the additional feature for the Digital Deluxe edition: "Atelier Lucy" unveiled![/h3]

This feature is a collaboration between FAIRY TAIL and the alchemy RPG “Atelier” series. In this feature, Lucy uses an alchemy cauldron that suddenly appears in the guild's garden to synthesize more powerful Lacrima using materials collected throughout the Kingdom of Fiore. This content is a must-see for fans of the "Atelier" series.

In the newly released opening movie, fans can get a glimpse of the Alvarez Empire Arc events awaiting them in FAIRY TAIL 2. The cinematic introduces players to members of the FAIRY TAIL guild as they battle Emperor Spriggan Zeref, his team of elites, the Spriggan 12, and the Black Dragon Acnologia, while paying homage to famous scenes featured in the original anime and manga series.
