SFXEngine Puzzle Sound Pack Released

The new Puzzle Sound Pack for SFXEngine is released today. The set includes pick-up and drop sounds, some explosions and effect sounds, along with levers, sliding or pushing objects, and a sparkly vanish and collection sounds. Tile-flip sounds and buzzers round off this useful general set for all sorts of game. Contains 75 sounds, 5 environments, 45 samples, 65 modulators.

Supplied in SFXEngine project format. Easy or modify, with lots of samples and modulators that are free to use and re-use. Far more flexible than a mere sample library.

Gunstorm is an arena shooter which gets gradually harder. Random waves of increasing intensity attack the player. Gunstorm II features a story and 8 new weapons, plus unlockable sub-games which can be played as standalone games.

Yinyang is an arcade puzzle game. Roll along tiles to flip them and make them vanish. Flip all tiles to open the exit. Special tiles include jumps, fans, multi-flip tiles and more.

Welcome to Argus v1.58

Another update to Argus today:
-First new feature is a right-click in the modulator length box can now be used to calculate and set the speed to one beat of a piece of music. Set FX to your beats-per-minute to use.
-Tracks can be be 'optimally' split, rather than needing to work out the ideal number.
-Edit level editing when no selection is set will now ask to apply per-track.

And a few other changes. Full details are in the Readme.txt file.

Welcome to Argus v1.57

A medium update to Argus today:
-We have slightly different looking mute icons, and new Guide tracks, which behave like muted (off) tracks. These are not affected by solo or all-on commands. Use these to store guide events that you don't want to appear in your film.
-A fix to the import of frame numbers from a text file.
-Setting data (in events) now returns the number of events processed.

And a few smaller changes. Full details are in the Readme.txt file. The manual has been updated too, as happens with all program changes.

SFXEngine Strategy Sound Pack Released

The new Strategy Sound Pack for SFXEngine is released today. This set includes switches and levers, alarms and sirens, and sliding objects. The pack includes a great set of general game event noises for things like bonuses, pick-ups, exits being revealed and G.U.I. events. Some audience applause, and unusual effects like clock ticks round off the collection. Contains 75 sounds, 4 environments, 44 samples, 89 modulators.

Supplied in SFXEngine project format. Easy or modify, with samples and modulators that are free to use and re-use. Far more flexible than a mere sample library.
