Mic test... Is this on? Bullet Heaven Fest, Teaser Trailer and Demo news?
Howdy, everyone! It's been a while, huh? How are you all doing?
First off, we'd like to announce that we're part of Bullet Heaven Fest 2.0! BHF is an annual event that celebrates the newly formed sub-genre on Steam called "Bullet Heaven."
While we describe Relic Abyss as a class-based action roguelite RPG with a light narrative set in a fantasy sci-fi world, at its core, it is a Bullet Heaven. We're so happy to be taking part in this event!
You can check out the event page here:
Regarding Bullet Heaven / Survivors-like tags
The bullet heaven community is trying to push steam to finally include "Bullet Heaven" and "Survivors-like" tags. If you have the time, please try to add it to our game as well!
You can access the tags by pressing the + button on the tags:

Steam values player feedback above all else so in doing so, we'll let our voices heard!
In celebration of this event, we’ve created a little teaser trailer for our upcoming demo! Please check it out!

At least now you all know that we are making a real game! ːsteamhappyː
We’ve been working tirelessly around the clock on our demo. There were a lot of mechanics to plan, so some of them took a while since they’re pretty complicated. But I'm happy to say that it’s almost done! We just need a bit more time to polish it and create a proper trailer to announce the game officially. Hopefully, it won’t be too long now, right?
That being said, there will be a demo showcase at Noble Steed Games' event called "The Games Exchange." Developers from Australia and the Philippines will exchange games to play each other’s creations and give feedback. It's happening on December 6/7 in AU and PH.

The Games Exchange
For those with eagle eyes, you might have noticed a few changes to our Steam page! We wanted to reflect all the updates we’ve made since June, and in line with the BHF event, we also revamped our Steam page!
Please check it out and be sure to add us to your wishlist if you haven’t already! It really helps us get noticed here!

Another thing we’ve been working toward is finding a publisher who's interested in picking up our game and helping us finish it so it can reach as many people as possible. We also need some funding so we don’t starve while making it! Currently, I’m self-funding the project, so it’ll be less painful once we sign with someone.
We have a lot of prospects, but we’re happy to say we’re very close to signing with one of them! We’re really excited about this and have all our fingers crossed! We’ll let you all know as soon as we have some solid news. This is something we’ve been working toward since we announced the game in June 2024!
I guess that’s it for now, folks! Thanks for reading through all of that! Our next goals are to officially announce the game and release our demo, then hopefully join Next Fest in February. Thank you so much to everyone who has wishlisted our game — we really appreciate it!
The holidays are approaching, so I hope you all have a cozy month ahead! I'll leave you with our resident Cat Smith, Wilson.
