[h2]A lot has happened over the past couple months, I can hardly believe it.[/h2]
Over the past couple of months, we've hit major milestones! These include completion of the game's OST, Completion of the game's coding and dialogue implementation (Now in the private debugging phase, QA tests will begin soon.), and nearing completion of the new art! Along with this, there has been a new game banner created!

Our wonderful Luci Sheppy has completed the Foxlore OST! You can order it before the game goes live, it currently contains 13 tracks and you can get it for €7!

[h2]Art & Coding Completion![/h2]
We've been working hard over the past few months to maximize quality and speed in terms of production. Our official sprite artist Antiiconoclasm is pretty much done, and here's a few peeks at his work that will be in the game:

Foxlore December Devlog

Hello everyone, I hope you've had a wonderful month full of holidays!


[h2]I'll start out with the big news: We are rapidly approaching the end of development! [/h2]

As per the tentative roadmap shared in the November devlog, this month has been filled with hard work from myself along with the Foxlore team! Puzzles have officially been completed and implementation & translation of dialogue is expected to be completed within the coming weeks. Exciting!

Given this news, you can expect a release date announcement in the next devlog! Now, here's a just a slice of what I've been working on over the past month.



[h2]Puzzles are done, you say?[/h2]

Yup! While there will still be some refining to be done in the QA phase, puzzles are done! On top of this, it comes with new puzzle mechanics such as the ability to draw on puzzles!



[h2]Let There Be Light![/h2]

In addition to everything else, I've been hard at work creating and implementing a lighting system that improves the look of the game while still retaining the atmosphere.

A lot of major announcements are right around the corner. I'm excited to share what we've made with you all, and I can honestly say that if this were a game I played, I would enjoy it. Foxlore November Devlog

Foxlore's Demo & Nextfest was a success!

[h3]Over 1,000 users have claimed the Foxlore Demo! Wow, that's a lot of you![/h3]

Thanks to everyone for their support of the demo! This was an amazing opportunity to see people's first impressions of the game, the game mechanics, the art, and so much more! Additionally, shoutout to my QA testing group. Thanks to them, the demo was released with minimal speedbumps.

The ultimate point of the demo was to see the following things first-hand, given this is my first game:
  • What gameplay and puzzle mechanics players like best.
  • How to best walk the player through the story.
  • What players look for in dialogue.


The information that I've gained from this experience is being implemented into the entire game. A lot of game mechanics have been changed based on player feedback, and I believe the game has become something truly great already!

In order to get some marketing going for the game, I'm going to be streaming parts of development. Some parts will be left out to avoid serious spoilers. You can follow me on Twitch here:

To start off, I'm going to start posting devlogs on a monthly basis to make sure there is a common place for news to be communicated other than the discord server! Additionally I have recieved a couple people asking where we are on the map since the Kickstarter launched this summer:

  11. Complete Foxlore (QA Testing)
  12. Marketing (Release date will be announced here.)
  13. Release Foxlore (Kickstarters will recieve their keys via email here.)

FOXLORE DEMO has officially been released!
I've officially launched a demo of Foxlore for you to play and check out the game!
This demo is intended to showcase all of the primary game mechanics, features, and artwork style, as well as the beginning of the story that will unravel through the game in the future!

Please share as much feedback as possible in the official Foxlore Discord Server, and I will try to be super active in responding to all praise and criticism!
