General
An intro animatic starts when a new save is created.
The Hub and its environment have been overhauled.
NPCs have been added to the Hub.
Savara
An armor system has been added; armor can be crafted using parts of defeated monsters. Armor accessible in the demo:
- Savara: increases attack damage.
- Rhinobuto: reduces damage suffered and increases max health.
- Puginoko: increases max health after you complete a room.
New weapon: Longsword.
- This long-range weapon is based on perfect timings. The more successful your timings are, the harder and faster you'll strike.
Shield & Sword rework:
- Charged attack: Savara throws her shield to inflict increasing damage after each hit.
- Weapon swap: Savara delivers a shield blow and is invulnerable for the duration of the attack.
- Ultimate attack: blocks all attacks for a short time. If at least one attack has been stopped, Savara performs a powerful whirlwind attack. Successfully blocking at just the right moment will increase the whirlwind attack's damage and fully recharge the ultimate gauge.
- When you use the third attack in a combo, the charged attack or ultimate attack, you now apply the Weakening effect on any enemies hit.
- Weakening: increases damage suffered by the target.
- Combo attack: The more attacks you land, the faster they are and more damage they do.
Modified endurance system: As long as you have at least 1 endurance point, you can perform an attack even if it costs more.
Dodge roll: The period of invulnerability on performing a dodge roll has increased slightly.
Attack direction: increased the speed of rotation to change attack angles.
Weapon swap: cooldown reduced to allow for smoother combos.
Improvement to effective damage: Using the right weapon type (Bludgeoning/Slashing/Piercing) on a monster part with weakness against it will inflict more damage than before.
