[h2]What is the Showdown Mode?[/h2]

Showdown is a new game mode available from Friday evening until Sunday midnight.
Players compete using their current online clubs, with matchmaking based on their match history and current division.

[h2]Participation Requirements:[/h2]

Special tokens are required to enter. You can earn these by completing ranked matches or by having an active premium status.

Each participant has a maximum of 15 matches to play. The goal is to win as many as possible.

[h2]Key Features:[/h2]

• Each victory unlocks better rewards. You can only claim the reward unlocked when the event ends.
  
• The mode will automatically end when the timer expires, but you’ll still be able to claim your reward the next time you log in or open the event window.
  
• If you lose 5 matches, the event ends early, and you’ll receive the reward corresponding to your current progress.
  
• Draws don’t affect the results and aren’t counted in the overall mechanics.

Players who achieve a perfect streak of 15 consecutive wins without any losses will receive a special reward!

[h2]What is a Skin Pack?[/h2]

A skin pack is a virtual container that holds card skins for your players. These skins can vary in rarity: uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. Each skin changes the appearance of your player card and might also boost their performance.



[h2]Why You Need a Card Skin[/h2]

1. Skin Packs Boosting Player Performance
Personal skins improve the attributes of a player. They can also increase the experience he earns from matches, boost existing skills, or add new ones.
There are also skin series. When collected together in a set (in other words, when you apply skins from the same series to several players in your team), they provide additional bonuses to the players you apply them to. The more cards in the set, the bigger their bonus.

2. Personalization and Aesthetics
Skins allow you to customize the appearance of your player cards. You can create a unique team with different skin series or personal skins. This makes the game more engaging and visually appealing. After all, everyone has their own individual vision and tastes.

3. Collecting and Prestige
Collecting skins of greater rarities is an exciting activity that adds an element of thrill to the game. This gives you the opportunity to create a unique collection of the rarest skins of your favorite players.



How Do Probability Mechanics Work?

Each skin inside a skin pack has a certain chance of dropping. These probabilities are usually fixed to their rarity and value within a particular pack.

Next to each skin pack, you can see the number of skins and the drop rates for each skin type. The "die roll" happens every time a skin in the skin pack opens. If a skin pack contains multiple skins, the die roll occurs before each skin opens.



How Do Probability Mechanics Work Within Skin Categories?

Each skin pack has a certain number of slots.

Each slot in the skin pack has an independent probability. When a slot opens, the first roll determines the skin's rarity. The second roll selects a series of skins or a personal skin type. The third roll determines the player's position for the skin series, and for personal skins, it selects the specific player for whom the skin will be awarded.



Understanding these mechanics helps us appreciate why it’s so important to collect skins and also the strategic advantages that rare and powerful skins can bring.

Player card skins are customizations that allow users to personalize their gaming experience. These skins include flashy new designs as well as retro styles, each adding its own unique flair to the game. Collecting card skins from the same series provides gameplay benefits, giving your team a competitive edge while enhancing their visual appeal. In this article, we'll explore the mechanics of UFL player card skin customization, highlight its advantages, and provide some instructions.

Card Skin Series

We have implemented a mechanic enabling users to receive bonuses for using card skins from the same series. While skins from the same series can look similar, they may have different rarities. Things to consider:

• Series bonuses only work when player skins are equipped on the Starting XI.
  
• Users can collect and use several Skin Series together and, therefore, stack up several bonuses simultaneously.
  

To apply bonuses from the Skin Series, you need to take the following details into consideration:

• The first bonus applies when you acquire three skins of the same series. The second and third bonuses apply with 5 and 8 skins in your collection, respectively.
  
• When you raise the series tier, the bonuses from previous tiers persist.
  
• Skin Series Bonuses are applied to groups by role. For example, the Attacking Line (LW, RW, ST), the Midfield Line (CAM, CM, CDM), the Defense Line (CB, RB, LB), and the Goalkeeper.
  

Card skin rarities

Skins come in four levels of rarity:

• Uncommon
  
• Rare
  
• Epic
  
• Legendary
  

There are a few key points to remember about skin rarity: the bonus the player receives is directly related to the skin rarity. Higher rarity skins provide greater bonuses. Bonuses are tiered, with a maximum rating of four stars.

Combinations & Skin Series

Various skin series provide different abilities for player groups, such as ATK, MID, and DEF. Combine several skin series to craft a unique, personalized setup that boosts your preferred tactics. For instance, you could tailor performance on the field by pairing the ATK bonuses of one series (shot power, strength and stamina for your attacking players enhanced), with the DEF bonuses from another series (ball control, crossing and defensive positioning for your defenders improved). With countless combinations to explore, players can genuinely implement their visions and add a personal touch to their clubs. Experiment. Implement. Improve.



Personal Card Skins

Besides skin sets, we offer personal skins, which are strictly tied to one footballer and can only be used on that footballer. These skins are marked with a specific colour and have unique visual appearances, animations, and/or shapes.

They can also give various bonuses, such as

• Footballer stat improvement – increases the specific stats of that footballer.
  
• Main squad stat improvement – increases the stats of all footballers in the main squad.
  
• Meta parameter improvement – increases various bonuses, such as the percentage/amount of Experience a specific footballer receives per match, Energy recovery rate, or Energy consumption rate of that footballer.
  
• Skill improvement – affects a specific footballer, and increases the skill level specified in the personal skin bonus.
  

• If the footballer does not have such a skill, then the skin adds the skill to the footballer skills list.
• Without a skin the skill level returns to its original value.

How to get Card skins

To acquire skins, navigate to the "Skins" section in the Main Screen and proceed to the "Store". In the Skins section, you can choose from multiple packs, each offering a variety of skins.

Skins can be purchased using Credits (CP) or League Points (LP). Note that only the Basic Pack can be purchased using only CP, while the rest can be bought with LP. Each pack contains a number of skins, indicated in the description. Skins that a player will obtain in each pack are random, but their rarity is determined by probabilities that can also be found in the description.

Additionally, skin packs can be obtained as rewards in in-game activities such as Challenges, Team Pass and Showdown games.
