July Developer Note - World League & World Zone Realignment

Greetings, Admirals.
I am Ja-ram Jeon, the Lead Producer of Gunship Battle: Total Warfare.
Last June, we shared the news of the upcoming World Zone realignment and the implementation of the brand-new World League.
In this month’s update, the World League system will be introduced. Before the update, we'd like to share a more in-depth explanation of the upcoming changes.

[h2][World League – World Zone Realignment] [/h2]
We would like to begin by thanking all our Admirals who provided some fantastic feedback through the survey on World Revamp. Your valuable opinions helped our team set some benchmarks when planning and developing the World League system.
The World League system will divide Servers into Worlds based on the total Combat Power of the Top 50 Admirals with the highest CP on the Server.
※ 'Highest Combat Power' refers to the Combat Power displayed in Combat Power Achievement rewards.
The World League consists of a total of five Worlds: Pioneer, Gold, Platinum, Master, and Grand Master, and Alliance Symbol be changed to indicate which World the respective Alliance belongs in.

Additionally, with the World League realignment, in-game features such as APEX Arena, World Boss, World Mission, World Ranking, Armada Time Attack, Language-Specific World Chat, World War, Server Invasion, and Server Transfer will be reorganized by World, League, and Division.
※ Information respective in some features may be reset due to the World League realignment.
Grand Master, Master, Platinum, and Gold Worlds consist of 24 Servers each, and all remaining Servers will be placed in Pioneer World, including Servers that open after the World Zone realignment takes place.
Each World is divided into two Leagues: Pacific League and Atlantic League, and within each League are two Divisions: Red Division and Blue Division, similar to the existing WWL format.

Please note that Pioneer World will not be divided into Leagues or Divisions, nor will any Worlds during Tournament pre-season.

[h2][Initial Server Assignment][/h2]
Server Transfer will take place from July 16, after maintenance, until July 23, before maintenance, prior to the World League update.
Servers will be assigned into Worlds, Leagues, and Divisions based on the total Combat Power of the Top 50 Admirals with the highest CP after Server Transfer ends.
Since Servers in World Zone 2 and World Zone 3 have been created relatively recently compared to those in World Zone 1, they will receive Server Combat Power advantages during the initial World League assignment process.
The remaining Servers with lower CP will be assigned to Pioneer World.

[h2][World League Tournament][/h2]
The next tournament will add new rules in line with the World League update.
The World League Tournament will follow the existing WWL format, with Servers being divided into Red and Blue Divisions. Each server will compete once against every other Server within its assigned Division, and league rankings will be determined based on the results of final ranking matches.
Once each Server’s ranking within the League is finalized, the strongest Server in the World will be decided through the final World Series ranking match.
Based on final rankings through ranking matches, 1st-3rd place Servers in each World will be promoted to higher Worlds, while 22nd-24th place Servers will be relegated to lower Worlds.
※ Servers in Grandmaster World will not be promoted. ※ Servers in Gold World will not be relegated. ※ Pioneer World will not conduct tournaments, and some top Servers may be promoted to Gold World after the World League season ends.
If there are insufficient Servers in higher Worlds due to Server merge, Servers next in ranking may be eligible for promotion.
※ World League Tournament schedules will be announced through future notices.
[h2][Server List UI Reorganization][/h2]
Along with the World League reorganization, the Server list UI will be reorganized to allow Admirals to view the Server lists of other Worlds Leagues.
In the reorganized Server list UI, Division of each Server in the World will be indicated by their respective color (Red or Blue).

Additionally, spectator features including spectator-only chat and 1:1 chat features will be added. Spectating other Servers will only be available for adjacent Worlds (one tier above or below).
※ Spectating is limited to a maximum of 10 spectators, 30 minutes spectating time, and 24 hours spectating cooldown.

◆ Server Transfer Post-Update
Currently, Server Transfers are limited to World Zones, except for transfers from World Zone 2 to World Zone 1.
After the World League update, Server Transfers will be extended to the adjacent World Leagues (one tier above or below).
※ Server Transfers are only possible to one adjacent World based on the World prior to the server transfer event.
◆ Server Invasion
The same system will be applied to Server Invasion. Currently limited to Servers in the same World Zone, Admirals will now be able to invade Servers in the adjacent World Leagues. (One tier above or below).
Some features may be restricted when invading other Worlds, and World Mission (Alliance Victory Points) and World Ranking points will not accumulate.
※ When jumping to Servers in a lower-tier World during Server Invasion, anonymization will not be applied and Admiral information will be exposed.
◆ Rewards
Rewards for certain features will be increased for higher-tier Worlds.
In the initial update, rewards for the following four in-game features will be increased: World Mission, Armada Strike Group, APEX Arena, and World War. Additional increases are planned for future updates.
Features with increased rewards based on World Leagues can be checked in the World selection UI.
