  • Motion Blur Toggle: Console players will now be able to turn motion blur on or off.
  • Permadeath Save Issue: Loading an old permadeath save after the update will no longer reset the difficulty to Apprentice.
  • All players can now purchase upgrade schematics for Nimlot's Sword or The Abis Dagger.
  • Stolen Goods items and Oud Melodies will now remain in your inventory after creating a new game in New Game+.
  • Added new Codex entries for AlUla.

  • Fixed an issue where completing a Permadeath playthrough on Ultimate Assassin difficulty wouldn't unlock the core challenge "The Color of The Supreme King".


[h3]AlUla Region[/h3]

  • Player will no longer lose tools supplies when traveling between Baghdad and AlUla.


[h3]Animus Sequence[/h3]

  • Deactivated tutorials automatically triggering during the Animus Sequences.
  • "Gilded Butterfly": Fixed an issue where the Animus Sequence of the mission would unlock before completing the mission during the main story.
  • "The Treasurer": The quest notification will no longer appear on screen when starting the mission from the Animus Sequence menu.


[h3]Parkour[/h3]
  • Fixed the diagonal wallrun not being triggered from a beam.
  • When enabling the Free Jump option, the confirmation for the new control preset will no longer appear as a "Hold" when the Hold Alternative option "Popup" has been chosen.


[h3]Trophies & Achievements[/h3]

  • "Playback": The achievement/trophy can now be unlocked if the last reward is obtained by finishing an Animus Sequence using an Animus Mod.
  • "Taste of Your Own Medicine": Fixed an issue with the achievement/trophy not unlocking when using an upgraded Blowdart with the "Lethal Dose" upgrade.
  • "Self-Improvement": Fixed an issue where the achievement/trophy would not unlock after learning all 23 skills.
  • "Unstoppable": The achievement/trophy will now unlock after killing 6 enemies with a single charge of Assassin's Focus.
  • "Cutting Edge": Fully upgrading a weapon from Valley of Memory will now properly unlock the achievement/trophy.
  • "Thick Skin": Fully upgrading an outfit from Valley of Memory will now properly unlock the achievement/trophy.
  • "Perfect Memory": Fixed the description text of the achievement/trophy to "Complete all challenges of an Animus Sequence".
  • Fixed an issue where the achievement/trophy "Bal Kullun Mumkin" was automatically unlocked when starting the Animus Sequence of the contract "The Dancer".

  • Fixed crashing issues while replaying missions from the Animus Sequence.
  • Fixed an issue where the game would become unresponsive while replaying a mission from the Animus Sequence when relaunching back into the same mission from the recap menu.

  • Fixed visual issues.
  • Improvements to HDR.
  • An empty flying scroll will no longer be seen flying around in the desert of Hegra. Do my eyes deceive me? Was that a mirage?
  • The Obsidian Rayhan Dye will now be the right color. Do you feel bonita? ‘Cause you look bonita!

  • Corrected varying in-game text and images in the Codex.
  • Fixed an issue where the quest notification for Al-Jahiz - The Bookworm" was displayed when starting any Animus Sequence mission after collecting a Lost Book.


[h3]LOCALIZATION[/h3]

  • Fixed various localization issues.
  • Enkidu was gendered as a female instead of male.


[h3]PC SPECIFIC[/h3]
  • Adjusted default preset key bindings for Parry on Mouse and Keyboard.
  • Fixed stability issues when activating Intel Xess Frame Generation option, Windows HDR and in-game HDR on a system with Intel ARC GPU.

[h3]PLAYSTATION 5 PRO SPECIFIC[/h3]

  • "The Heart of Corruption": Adjusted Basim's hair to not offset when rotating the camera. This fashionista is ready for the camera!

[h2]Quests[/h2]

  • "The Serpent's Nest": Fixed an issue where the Animus Sequence of the mission would unlock before completing the mission during the main story.
  • "Escape the Prison": All enemies will now appear when replaying the mission in the Animus Sequence.
  • "The Heart of Corruption": Adjusted the volume of prisoner eavesdrop dialogue.
  • "In The Vulture's Nest": Players will no longer receive an additional Initiate of Alumut dagger after defeating Nimlot.
  • "Roman Fort”: Basim will now be able to carry explosives even if the astrologer is knocked out and hidden in a haystack without disguising.


[h3]Visuals & Graphics[/h3]

  • Fixed visual issues on Nimlot's tower after quitting to the Title Screen during cutscenes.

A new adventure begins for Basim.[/p][p]Set before the finale of Mirage's main narrative, Valley of Memory is a free story expansion for Assassin's Creed Mirage that begins with a mysterious lead: Basim hears rumors that his long-lost father may still be alive. After speaking with his old friend, Dervis, Basim sets out for AlUla - a land of secrets, ancient ruins, and vibrant oases.[/p][p][/p][p]To begin the Valley of Memory questline, players will need to have started the "Head of the Snake" mission in the base game. Players can also choose to skip ahead in the story directly from the main menu when starting a new game. Largely lost to time, the Valley of Memory is a stunning region that played an important role in the history of the area for centuries.[/p][p]Divided into two main regions, the so-called Land of the Dead in the northern half, and the Land of the Living in the southern half, each sub-region offers unique visual variety and opportunities.[/p][p][/p][h3]NEW WORLD ACTIVITIES[/h3][p]Beyond the main story, Valley of Memory offers additional hours of new and returning world activities which will help you uncover the mysteries of AlUla. Familiar side activities return, including world events and world contracts, alongside brand-new additions:[/p][p]One such activity is Stolen Goods, where Basim must steal secret maps from robbers to recover valuable items.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Another is Oud Melodies, which challenges players to collect musical themes through parkour sequences - reminiscent of the sea shanties in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Please note that these improvements will work both in both Alula and Baghdad.[/p][p][/p][h2]PARKOUR & CONTROLS IMPROVEMENTS[/h2][h3]Free Jump[/h3][p]The option to free jump has been added to Mirage's gameplay settings, giving you the ability to manually jump as you traverse through the game. This can be set to on/off in the gameplay options tab.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][h3]Back and Side Ejects[/h3][p]Side and back ejects can now be performed even if there is no clear spot for Basim to land or a clear handhold for him to grab. You can also toggle this "Free" mode on/off in the gameplay options tab. Keep the current "Safe" mode if you prefer that Basim always lands safe and sound.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][h3]Control Presets[/h3][p]A new "modern" control preset has been added to the gameplay options to improve the feel of the controls, especially when Free Jump has been enabled.[/p][p][/p][h2]ANIMUS SEQUENCES (REPLAYABLE MISSIONS FEATURE)[/h2][p]Another highly requested feature from the community was mission replay-ability. Well, we heard you! Main missions and contracts can now be replayed![/p][p]You can access them through your investigation board's "Animus Sequences" section or by interacting with the Animus icons around the world.[/p][p][/p][p]New challenges will be available upon replaying a mission, allowing you to complete challenges to earn new rewards, like Animus mods. Animus Mods are auto-refills over time for tools & Assassin Focus and can be activated only in Animus Sequences or in New Game+.[/p][p][/p][h2]NEW DIFFICULTY SETTINGS[/h2][p]Two new difficulties have been added to the game: Hardened Assassin and Ultimate Assassin. Each new preset also includes one new reward. These can be awarded for completing a permadeath run on the corresponding difficulty setting.[/p][p]Hardened Assassin sits between Assassin (Normal) and Master Assassin (Hard) and features the same difficulty as Assassin, but with higher defense enemies.[/p][p][/p][p]Ultimate Assassin is our new hardest difficulty, providing a new and fresh challenge for experienced players.[/p][p][/p][p]For those wanting a more tailored experience, we've also added a new Custom Difficulty preset as well![/p][p][/p][h2]TIER 3 TOOL UPGRADE[/h2][p]Tools can now be upgraded to level 3, giving them new abilities to help you through the new challenges of the DLC.   • [p]Throwing Knives - Throwing Knives become explosive.[/p]
  • [p]Smoke Bomb - Becomes a corrosive bomb that dissolves dead enemies, leaving no trace of them.[/p]
  • [p]Blow Dart - Can now pierce even the most heavily armored enemies.[/p]
  • [p]Noisemaker - Can now put enemies caught in the impact zone to sleep.[/p]
  • [p]Traps - Can now cause enemies caught within their blast radius to enter berserk mode and attack their fellow guards.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]ADDITIONAL IMPROVEMENTS & ADDITIONS[/h2][h3]GAMEPLAY[/h3]
  • [p]Added a new skill to the skill tree: Engineer 2 which allows players to equip all tool lvl1 upgrades.[/p]
  • [p]Added an option to cancel the chain kill once started.[/p]
  • [p]Added new objects that can only be looted by pickpocketing in AlUla.[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced the notoriety system to coincide with new difficulty settings.[/p]
  • [p]Tool aim assist will now correctly snap to the target's weak points while behind an enemy. Now you have no excuses...[/p]
[h3]COMBAT[/h3]
  • [p]Added an opportunity to dodge a Shakiriyya attack after being parried.[/p]
  • [p]Modified the Light Attack slash VFX to make the attacks feel more impactful.[/p]
  • [p]Improved the flinch animation on the NPCs during light attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the window of opportunity to perform a kick.[/p]
  • [p]Disabled blend on parry success animation so it feels more responsive.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the size of the parry VFX.[/p]

  • [p]Improved the trigger condition of the ejects.[/p]
  • [p]Modified the camera and added a VFX to improve the feeling of speed while sprinting.[/p]

  • [p]Updated the objective icons design and descriptions within the quest log to reinforce the differences between the types of objectives.[/p]

  • [p]Added an "upgradable tool" icon when a tool can be upgraded. Displayed next to the Bureau icons, on the map & compass for Banu Musa and the Workbench.[/p]
