[Demo] Major Update!

A major update to the trial version is available today for both Win and Mac! (English description is below the image.)



Important Notice

Due to this update, loading past saved data may not work properly.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you play from the beginning whenever possible.
You can also use save data deletion from option screen.

Updates


[h2]New Features[/h2]
  • Added a new character. (Can meet in the second round.)
  • An auto-save function has been implemented. You can go back to the most recent choice when loading.
  • The number of save slots has been expanded to 30.
  • Added conversation memory function (except when searching for evil eye). The most recent conversation can be displayed.
    [a]Message skipping is now possible. Please note that currently unread messages are also skipped.
  • Lightweight mode can now be set in the options. Some of the effects of the evil eye search will be cut off.


[h2]Specification Changes[/h2]
  • Menus can no longer be opened during an evil eye search.
  • Menu button placement has been changed.

[Demo]Apology for the content of the release

In the update on Sep. 5th, an error was made in accidentally releasing a different version than the trial version. This has now been corrected, and we apologize for the inconvenience, but please update your software as soon as possible. We will take measures to prevent this from recurring in the future.

[Demo]Apology for saved data

In today's update, we have fixed a bug in the process regarding save data. This will make it inevitable to reset the save data. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

DevilConnection is based on Electron due to the fact that it is developed using TyrannoScript. Briefly, the browser runs internally, and the game runs on top of it.
The game uses a mechanism called Local Storage to save saved data, but when we were working on a previous issue where the game did not work properly in an HDR environment, the key string used to save data in Local Storage had an incorrect value.
We have now corrected the key string to the correct value, and you will no longer be able to use saved data from previous versions of the software.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but since the bug in the save data processing has been resolved and the save data is now saved correctly, theoretically there can no longer be any loss of save data.
