This might be one of the last updates for the demo in a while, as we're going back to work on the main content for the game.

Let's get right on to the patch notes!


[h3]PATCH NOTES:[/h3]
BUGFIXES
    Fixed a bug that caused screens wider than 16:9 to get stuck on the rebind screen. (This fix was temporarily disabled.)
  • Fixed a bug that let players use gunpowder to reload more than their max amount of ammo.
  • Fixed a bug where players would get fall damage from scraping on walls while falling.
  • Fixed a bug where the bishop diary would not "remember" being picked up.
  • Fixed a bug that caused resolution to reset to a wrong value when reloading the game.
  • Fixed a bug that caused fullscreen mode and resolution not to save correctly when changed in the options.


TWEAKS
  • Reduced slightly the damage of falls from low heights.
  • Falls that deal less than 10 damage now don't deal damage at all.
  • Replaced the word "mana" that appeared in some places with "Innersap" (was leftover from early development).

BUGFIXES
  • Fixed a bug that would cause enemies to slide off without control when hit during an attack.
  • Fixed a bug where Deneb would disappear right in front of your eyes after talking.
  • Fixed a bug where Deneb would not disappear from GRAND RULER PLAZA after meeting him in the STARLIT CHURCH.
  • Fixed a bug where the Shovel weapon would stay on screen while in dialogue
  • Fixed an issue that caused Sap Vials not to drop from breakables.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the camera to freak out for half a second when exiting the character creator.


TWEAKS
  • Adjustments for the price of gunpowder in stores (6->15).
  • Adjustments for the limits of the FOV slider (60 to 75 -> 55 to 95). Default value is unchanged.


ADDITIONS
  • Added the option to separately adjust "movement lean" and "camera breathing" in the options menu for accessibility reasons.
  • Reworked the visual of the YOU DIED text.

A new day means a new update and this one is chunky!

Additionally, we have a slew of smaller changes and fixes!

BUGFIXES
  • Fixed a bug that would cause the game to crash if you played it offline from steam.
  • Fixed a bug where breakable items would clip into grub cocoons.
  • Fixed a bug where some elements would keep wobbling even if the psx wobble toggle was unchecked.
  • Fixed a bug where Antares' barrels would be invulnerable in her hand after being broken once.
  • The speed at which gravity affects zealot eyes should now be consistent and more lenient.


TWEAKS
  • Adjustments for rocks (health reduced, damage when kicked increased)
  • Adjustments for lightstones (deal more damage)
  • Tweaked character creation UI to be ultra-widescreen friendly.


ADDITIONS
  • Added button prompts to showcase use magic and use consumable inputs near their respective icons.
  • Added input remapping menu.
  • Added a slight ambient sound when in the city street's dark underground.


KNOWN ISSUES
  • Some inputs cannot be chosen for remapping (namely, scroll wheel inputs).
  • UI might give incorrect prompts if using exotic input mappings (i.e. additional mouse buttons)

Today's update brings STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS to the game!


Additionally, here are a few patch notes:
  • Added an in-game timer to the quickpause menu.
  • Added option to disable "PSX Wobble" in the video options.
  • A few improvements to Ultra widescreen support (not there yet but getting closer!)
  • Disabled "Cheats" by default (can be enabled with a secret button combination)
  • Slight tweaks to "movement slowdowns" when doing melee attacks should cause slightly smoother combat.
