Defend the Honor of High Isle during the Legacy of the Bretons Celebration Event


Thwart the Ascendant Order’s schemes and earn bonus rewards during this new in-game event!
[h2]Set Sail for the Systres[/h2]
The Legacy of the Bretons Celebration kicks off Thursday, November 21 at 10AM EST, and runs until Tuesday, December 3 at 10AM EST. During this in-game event, you can acquire a variety of bonus rewards as you adventure within the Systres Archipelago. This includes special Reward Boxes, Event Tickets, and increased drops for Daily Quests, Dungeons, Tales of Tribute matches, Volcanic Vents, Resource Nodes, and both World Bosses and Delves within the High Isle and Galen zones.

To participate, you’ll need to own the High Isle, Ascending Tide, Lost Depths, or Firesong DLCs. You can get access via ESO Plus™ membership or purchase them for crowns from the in-game Crown Store.

Venture into High Isle
[h2]Seize Tantalizing Rewards[/h2]
During the Legacy of the Bretons Celebration, you can earn a Glorious Reward Box once per day each time you complete your first Daily Quest in either the High Isle or Galen zones or the Trial Quest in Dreadsail Reef. You can also obtain an additional Glorious Reward Box once per day by slaying and looting the final boss of any Ascending Tide or Lost Depth dungeon or the final boss in the Dreadsail Reef trial.

Glorious Reward Boxes may contain the following items:
  • Random crafting materials
  • A Fine or Superior rarity sellable treasure
  • One of the following Legacy of the Bretons motif style items:
    • If the Reward Box was obtained in the Overland:
      • Syrabanic Marine
      • Systres Guardian
      • Steadfast Society
      • Ancestral Breton
      • House Mornard
      • Firesong
    • If the Reward Box was obtained in a Dungeon:
      • Ascendant Order
      • Dreadsails
      • Y'ffre's Will
      • Drowned Mariner
  • A Fine, Superior, or Epic rarity Legacy of the Bretons overland set item
    • A Dungeon set item will be given instead if you obtained the Reward Box in a Dungeon
  • Companion Gear
  • One of the following drops:
    • Legacy of the Bretons furnishing recipes
    • Legacy of the Bretons Treasure Maps or Survey Reports

      • If the Reward Box was obtained in the Overland:

You can also collect the more common Regular Reward Boxes, which offer a smaller chance to obtain the same rewards, by participating in the following activities:
  • Slaying Delve and World Bosses in the High Isle and Galen zones
  • Defeating Ascending Tide and Lost Depths dungeon bosses
  • Clearing Volcanic Vents
  • Slaying basic enemies
  • Opening treasure chests
  • Opening safeboxes
  • Looting objects such as barrels, crates, etc.
  • Looting Psijic portals
  • Cracking open Thieves Troves
  • Harvesting crafting resource nodes
  • Pickpocketing

Complete quests to earn bonus rewards

In addition to these Reward Boxes, you can acquire bonus loot during the festivities from the following sources:
  • Increased drops from harvest nodes (this does not include fishing or creature drops such as leather)
  • Double regular Reward Boxes for High Isle and Galen Zone Daily Quests and Trial Weekly quests
  • Double Tales of Tribute Daily Quest Reward Boxes
  • Additional loot dropped from High Isle and Galen World Bosses, Public Dungeon Bosses, Delve Bosses, as well as Volcanic Vents
    • Does not apply for minibosses
  • Additional loot dropped from Legacy of the Bretons Trial and Dungeon Bosses
[h2]Impresario & Event Tickets[/h2]
Throughout the duration of the Legacy of the Bretons Celebration, players will earn two Event Tickets for completing the first of the following activities once per day:
  • Daily Delve, World Boss, and Incursion quests in High Isle
  • Daily Delve, World Boss, and Incursion quests in Galen
  • Weekly Trial quests in Dreadsail Reef
  • Killing and looting the final boss in either Ascending Tide or Lost Depths dungeons
  • Tales of Tribute Daily Quests (PvP or PvE)

This means you can gather a total of 26 Event Tickets by the event’s conclusion. Keep in mind that you can carry only 12 Tickets at one time, so if you collect any further while at the cap, they will be lost.

Anniversary Spotlight—Welcome to Golden Pursuits



Earn a new adornment and costume in November’s Anniversary Spotlight—ESO’s first Golden Pursuits campaign!


The 10-Year Anniversary Celebration continues in November with the introduction of a new type of activity for ESO players—Golden Pursuits! Introduced with the Update 44 base-game patch, Golden Pursuits offer new rewards by completing particular in-game activities.


In this first campaign, you can earn the Adventure-Ending Arrow adornment and 10-Year Anniversary Nord Hero costume, allowing you to commemorate those whose careers were cut short by their enemies’ careful aim or dress like an iconic hero of Tamriel. From now until November 25, you can complete two featured activities to earn these rewards, including options such as visiting player homes to completing a Dungeon.

Brand-new survival RPG from former Elder Scrolls dev looks like co-op Fallout

It's right there from the beginning of the first Fallout game, that big cathode-ray-tube television that runs the opening cutscene. Interplay, and later Bethesda, cultivated an instantly recognizable aesthetic, where the schmaltzy, suburban 'perfection' of '50s America clashes with the brutality of the apocalypse. The debut game from Ruckus, a new studio composed of former Borderlands and Elder Scrolls developers, looks like it takes that visual style and runs with it. A co-op game with survival and RPG elements, we don't have a name yet, but the pedigree is high and the early details are promising.
