Audio Director & Composer Brad Derrick joins the Community Team for a very special ESO Live!

We’re thrilled to share that The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle’s soundtrack has been submitted for consideration for the 2023 Grammy Awards. This submission is for the all-new “Best Score Soundtrack For Video Games And Other Interactive Media” category (a first for the Grammys) and we are very happy to throw our hat in the ring with this Chapter’s incredible soundtrack.

Tune in to Twitch.tv/Bethesda this Friday, October 14 at 4PM EDT, as Lead Community Manager Jess Folsom, Senior Community Manager Gina Bruno, and Audio Director and Composer Brad Derrick host a special ESO Live. Together, they’ll chat about the submission for this new Grammy category and take a deep dive into the process for the creation of the High Isle soundtrack.

Twitch Drops will also be enabled (link your ESO and Twitch accounts here), and there’ll be a special giveaway for those watch live in the Twitch chat. Bring your harps, fiddles, and frog-pipes and join us on Twitch.tv/Bethesda this Friday, October 14 at 4PM EDT as we celebrate this amazing news.

The ESO community came together and unlocked six days of the Explorer’s Celebration in-game event!
[h2]Community-Earned Event[/h2]
The ESO community shut down a host of Volcanic Vents during the Heroes of High Isle event, so starting today, October 11 at 10AM EDT, and running until Monday, October 17 at 10AM EDT, you can enjoy the limited-time Explorer’s Celebration in-game event!

During the event, you’ll get bonuses when completing the following in-game activities:

• Increased drops from harvest nodes (this does not include fishing or creature drops such as leather)
• +100% XP gains from every source
  • These bonuses stack with other XP boosts such as scrolls or group multipliers
• +100% gold earned from monster kills, quest rewards, and similar sources

These bonuses are available to all ESO players and in any zone in Tamriel (and some beyond it).

Note that the Explorer’s Celebration doesn’t grant Event Tickets and doesn’t have its own unique quests, achievements, or collectibles associated with it. Nor is the Impresario available during this limited period.

This Explorer’s Celebration is thanks to the hard work of the #ESOFam during the recent Heroes of High Isle event and its bonus challenge. Don’t forget, if you own the High Isle Chapter, there’s still time to claim your Heroes of High Isle rewards from the in-game Crown Store. You have until October 21 to claim the event reward bundle, so don’t miss out!

The Explorer’s Celebration is now live and will run until Monday, October 17 at 10AM EDT.

We were thrilled to share more about ESO’s 2022 adventures during the Legacy of the Bretons Autumn Event livestream on twitch.tv/Bethesda yesterday, but if you couldn’t watch the show, don’t worry. Here’s everything you might have missed!
[h2]Firesong DLC Deep Dive[/h2]
Senior Community Manager Gina Bruno, Forum Manager Kevin Gbolie, and Zone Lead Jason Barnes sat down for a deep dive into the upcoming Firesong story DLC. Together they discussed the new zone, storyline, characters, and how it ties into the larger Legacy of the Bretons adventure.

[h2]Firesong Prologue Is Live Right Now![/h2]
In addition to the DLC, the team also talked about the Firesong Prologue. This free quest that sets up the events of the Firesong DLC is now live on all platforms for anybody who owns the ESO base game—go check it out!

[h2]Heroes of High Isle Event[/h2]
The Heroes of High Isle in-game event also kicked off yesterday, and during the livestream the team revealed a bonus final reward: the Firesong DLC.

That’s right! Should the community reach 100% in the Heroes of High Isle community challenge (reached by earning the High Isle Pathfinder achievement), they’ll unlock the Firesong DLC for FREE for all High Isle owners. If you haven’t already earned your Pathfinder achievement in game, now is the time to do it. Even better, the High Isle Chapter is currently on sale on all platforms—don’t miss out!

Of course, the Heroes of High Isle isn’t the only in-game event left in 2022, and you’ll soon be able to earn special rewards and Event Tickets during the following:
