Get a Free Pet & Respecs During the Heroes Reforged Event

Get a free pet and rebuild your characters from the ground up during the Heroes Reforged in-game mini event.
Build A New You
To celebrate the arrival of Update 29’s Champion System overhaul, we’re happy to announce the Heroes Reforged mini event. Beginning with the launch of Update 29 for each platform (PC/Mac: Monday, March 8 at 10AM EST/3PM GMT; Xbox One and PlayStation®4: Tuesday, March 16 at 10AM/3PM), this event will run for two weeks and allow you unlimited free respecs from Rededication Shrines for the following:
 • Attributes (Health/Stamina/Magicka)
 • Skills (and Morphs)
 • Champion Points (from the Champion Point system menu)

Note that the above start times may shift depending on when Update 29 goes live and servers open, and when you first log in, all Skills and Champion Points will be automatically reset.

While the changes coming with Update 29 impact only the Champion System, we know that you’ll likely want to test many builds, so for two weeks you can reset, respec, and rebuild any and all of your characters as many times as you want for free when using a Rededication Shrine or the Champion Point redistribution function—easy!

Finally, this is not a full in-game event (such as the Midyear Mayhem or the recent Tribunal Celebration), and as a result it will not have Event Tickets or unique rewards—just free re-specializations. That’s two weeks to experiment and test your builds at no cost.
Grab a Free Pet
Because Update 29 requires a mandatory skill respec (including both Champion Points and Skill Points), we’re also offering the Ambersheen Vale Fawn pet from the in-game Crown Store, completely free!

You can find this free pet under the Pets category within the Crown Store, and it is available only during the event period for your platform—don’t miss out!

The Heroes Reforged Event begins for PC/Mac on Monday, March 8 at 10AM EST/3PM GMT, and it runs until Monday, March 22 at 10AM EDT/3PM BST. For Xbox One and PlayStation®4, the event starts Tuesday, March 16 at 10AM EDT/3PM BST, and it runs until Tuesday, March 30 at 10AM EDT/3PM BST.

The state of The Elder Scrolls Online in 2021

Have you ever had to grow into your gear? The Elder Scrolls Online has. The Elder Scrolls MMO was not a smash success when it debuted on the heels of Skyrim in 2014. Those first months were rough (just ask players to relive those beta and early experiences and look for the trauma in their eyes). But over time, TESO got better, becoming a rich world that tied together many aspects of the Elder Scrolls universe. It took players back to Morrowind, the most beloved Elder Scrolls setting, and mostly pulled it off. As it grew, the MMORPG's popularity also increased. In early 2021, Bethesda's Pete Hines lauded TESO as "the most successful Bethesda game over the last four years." And this past year was its most popular yet...

Tribunal Coffers

That’s a lot of great reasons to return to (or visit for the first time) the regions of Vvardenfell and the Clockwork City. However, in addition to these bonus rewards, when you complete a daily quest in either one of the two zones, you’ll receive a Tribunal Coffer.

Within this consecrated container, you’ll have a chance to receive some of these thrice-blessed items:
 • Crafting materials
 • Overland set items from the two zones
 • Style pages (and in rare cases, entire Motif Chapters) for the Ashlander, Morag Tong, Telvanni, Redoran, Hlaalu, Ebonshadow, and Clockwork Apostle styles
 • Transmutation Crystals
 • Vvardenfell or Clockwork City treasure maps
 • NEW The Slag Town Diver Skin Runebox (tradeable)
 • NEW Thetys Ramarys’s Bait Kit memento Runebox (tradeable)
 • NEW Fragments for the Microtized Verminous Fabricant pet (tradeable)

Even better, the first time you complete a daily quest each day, you’ll receive a Glorious Tribunal Coffer instead. Glorious Tribunal Coffers contain the same items as their regular counterparts but have a higher chance of receiving some of the rarer items, such as the skin, memento, or pet fragments.

Finally, during the event, regular Tribunal Coffers also have a chance to drop randomly from various zone activities, including defeating bosses, looting objects, and even slaying random monsters.

In addition to these deals, during the same period, the Crown Store will also feature both the new Doctrine Ordinator Weapons Pack and the Mother Morrowind’s Sacred Lullaby music box AND bring back Dwarven Crown Crates!
