v0.7.7! | New Sculplings! XP Changes! Bug Fixes!

[p][/p][p]Hey guys! We've been finally starting to focus on marketing the game to get more eyes on it. But still had time to update and fix things that have been on my list for awhile! This update includes:[/p]
  • [p]New FANTASY/BUG Sculpling in GRAVEYARD[/p]
  • [p]XP changes: Sculplings now take a little more xp to evolve, but your active Sculpling gets more xp[/p]
  • [p]Stat Boosts: When you clear a zone, any Sculpling you've cought in that zone will get their stats boosted. This is to try and make any previous-zone Sculplings more viable before they evolve.[/p]
  • [p]Bug fixes: Poison gas item, All issues with egg hatching, fix healing at 0hp with the healing pin and/or farmer's badge, fix default move freezing the game when you have run out of pp on all your moves, can no longer buy already purchased items at the Hub Shop[/p]
  • [p]More Golden Moves: have added more moves to the pool of rare Golden Moves that Sculplings can learn.[/p]
[p][/p][p]If you have any thoughts about the new xp changes, I'd love to hear about them either here or through the game's FEEDBACK form(preferably here in the comments). I'm trying to make zone 1 monsters more viable in the mid game. I want to avoid players always have the strategy of just having one tank(starter) Sculpling until like midway through the game- I'm thinking this change may help a lot :)[/p][p][/p][p]"RIVAL" update is in the works and Chris has been making really good progress on it :) Really hoping to have that update out next week.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for the support![/p][p][/p]

v0.7.4! | 3D Maps + More! (Plus $ increase announcement!)

[p]Hello again! Back with another big update![/p][p][/p][p]This update includes: [/p][p]- 3D Maps! All the maps have been completely re-done as a 3D environment. The map screen has stayed the same since 3 months into development so it was long overdue haha. There's gonna be more polish to them added over time but it's definitely a big visual improvement over what was there![/p][p]*NOTE: Any previous run you were on is reset by this update due to the map changes!**[/p][p][/p][p]- Fix 'Healing Pin' and Farm Badge keeping your Sculplings at 0hp[/p][p]- Fix 'Buffet Bash' and 'Deep instinct' moves [/p][p][/p][p]I got your other reports and we're working hard to fix things ASAP![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Our focus next:[/p]
  • [p]Cleaning up the rest of the current reported bugs[/p]
  • [p]RIVAL- A rival character that will appear randomly in runs[/p]
  • [p]A new Fantasy/Bug Sculpling[/p]
[p][/p][p]FINALLY:[/p][p]We're thinking of increasing the price of the game to $9. I think especially with the new 3d maps there's more than enough work put in since the price was set to $7 to justify bumping it up a bit. This will be the last price increase until full release- where it'll probably be a final price of $12. Patch notes: v0.7.2

  • Inventory swapping- when your inventory is full you will now be given the choice to swap or use and old item to make room for the new one instead of just getting an "Inventory Full" message. It's not pretty yet but functionally it's there


Tested all your bug reports and think I fixed them, couldn't reproduce them. If you get a bug you've previously run into feel free to report it again but hopefully they are fixed :)

The exception being the opponent dialog sometimes being blank- still working on that one :)

Update v0.6.9! BIG TYPE REWORK!!!

[p][/p][p]Our biggest update ever!![/p][p]This update reworks the game to split up the Sculplings into 7 ADDITIONAL TYPES![/p][p][/p][p]In addition, the move set of EACH AND EVERY SCULPLING has been completely rewokred and redesigned in a way that I believe adds a lot more depth and excitement to each monster. This meant adding over 50 new moves to the game.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]I have been SOOO excited for this update- I believe it adds A LOT more complexity to the game.[/p][p]I'm excited to hear what you guys think! Obviously a big change like this will require balancing in the next few weeks, there's a lot more combinations now so bear with me while we chip away at balance and small bug fixes in the following weeks![/p][p][/p][p]Thanks as always for the support guys- some more exciting updates in the works that I'm excited to share with you guys soon![/p][p][/p][p]-Conor[/p]
