We're pleased to announce that Katawa Shoujo is now officially Steam Deck Verified! Thank you very much to Valve for their review and approval.

This verifies that Katawa Shoujo gives a good experience on the Steam Deck, including its text legibility, game controls, and interface. No reconfiguration is needed: just install from Steam and run, and your cloud saves will also come over.

We've also pushed a minor fix to try and resolve continuing issues around achievements, external language patches, and achievements.

Thank you everybody for helping Katawa Shoujo reach 1000 reviews on Steam!
It means so much that so many people care about KS after all these years.

We have pushed an update to resolve an issue with achievements not unlocking properly in some circumstances, as well as a full screen cursor bug.

There is also now support for unofficial languages patches to be compatible with the Steam build - including German, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese.
You will need to download and install them externally - there is a list on the Steam forums here.
