Update Patch Details



Hello, everyone!

Thank you so much for your overwhelming interest in Guidus Zero since the Early Access launch.
During the first week, we received valuable feedback and bug reports, which allowed us to address issues that went unnoticed during development.
We’ve also added convenient features such as customizable key settings and adjustable screen shake intensity.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed their insights.
The development team remains committed to delivering ongoing updates, improving stability, and introducing new content to enhance your experience.

Below are the details of the first hotfix update:

[h3]New Features[/h3]
- Added customizable key settings.
- Added an adjustable screen shake intensity option.
- Five new Spirit Bond Effects have been added: Flame Ring, Water Ring, Dust Cloud, Wind Ring, and Lightning Ring.

[h3]Known Issues[/h3]
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in passages or rooms intermittently.
- Fixed an issue where monsters spawned double the amount intended.
- Fixed an issue where the amount of Black Blood displayed as a negative value after purchases in Rascal’s Hideout (Shop).
- Fixed an issue where monsters overlapped and could not be attacked.
- Improved the clarity of warning indicators in certain boss patterns.
- Fixed an issue where progress was unavailable when skipping some bosses’ third phases.
- Fixed an issue where bosses would not spawn or be defeated in certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where progress was unavailable as the Spirit Bond effect, Wind Veil, removed certain projectiles.
- Revised the Guardian’s Necklace Artifact tooltip to align with its actual effects.
- Fixed an issue where Spirit Bonds would not reveal when acquiring Artifacts through Epsilon’s Artifact Transmitter.
- The Electric Field's discharge direction has been adjusted to a straight line.
- The Rain Shower's area of effect has been expanded, with updated visual effects.
- Fixed an issue where the Phantom Sword effect was not applied to certain monsters.
- Fixed an issue where Divine Punishment targeted already defeated subjects.

[h3]Guidus Zero Overview[/h3]

In Guidus Zero, you’ll explore the mysterious sinkhole, the "Scar," lying in the continent’s heart, engaging in real-time grid combat and character progression, all set against beautiful top-down pixel graphics.
Team up with an expanding roster of playable heroes, collect artifacts that interact dynamically, and bond with powerful spirits to uncover the dark secrets hidden within the Scar.

Through research with Hazel, the mage, and camp customization with Solan, the architect, you’ll grow your heroes and prepare for intense boss battles ahead.



[h3]Post-Nextfest Changes[/h3]
During October’s Nextfest, many of you tried out the demo and provided invaluable feedback. Based on your input, we’ve made the following improvements:

- New Region – “Heart of the Labyrinth”: A new area with powerful bosses and unique monsters is now available.
- Enhanced Controls: Improved dodge range and input responsiveness for smoother control.
- Camp Cabin Customization: Customize your cabin with Solan to gain permanent growth benefits.
- Difficulty Adjustment: Overall balance tweaks to enhance gameplay difficulty.
- Hero Balance Updates: Adjustments to stats and skills of playable characters.
- Skill Revamps: Skill balancing for the characters Dalia and Chatri.
- Button Display: Updated button layout and added customization options.
- Growth System Update: Hazel’s upgrade system has expanded from potion boosts to player stat upgrades.



[h3]Planned Additions for Official Release[/h3]
Key additions planned before the official launch:

Enhanced Adventure Elements: Various challenges will be added to enrich the adventure experience beyond combat.

- New Areas: The deepest floors of the Scar will be unveiled.
- New Difficulty Levels: Enjoy new adventures with diverse difficulty options.
- Codex and Scenario: New codex features and scenarios will be included.
- New Playable Characters: Look forward to continuous character additions both at the official release and beyond.
- Hero Traits Revamp: We will introduce more diverse traits than currently available.
