Patch 0.2.39 is live, bringing fixes and improvements to your gameplay experience. Additionally, our Steam Broadcast will feature developer Ben, sharing insights into Runeborn’s mechanics and answering your questions.
The team will also respond to queries on Discord, Steam Discussions, and Reddit.

   • The personal leaderboard tab no longer displays the leaderboard reset text.
     
2. [h3]Bug Fixes & Adjusments[/h3]
   
   • Resolved gem purchase bug causing missing inventory items in the next level.
     
   • Corrected level rewards UI to remove "+" from negative values.
     
   • Fixed rune selection/deselection during scroll use leading to rune disappearance.
     
   • Addressed game lock when continuing a save file and defeating an elite.
     
   • Fixed Nullification trinket issue with Vypras elite and frozen rune.
     
   • Resolved unintended meditation/cast during level completion.
     
   • Fixed act label on the game over screen.

We’ve been hard at work enhancing your Runeborn experience, and today, we’re thrilled to share the latest updates in the demo build. Dive into the detailed patch notes below and see what’s new!

1. [h3]New Features and Enhancements[/h3]
   • Tutorial: Added a full guided tutorial for newcomers.
     
   • More Save States: Taking actions in shops and opening chests now save progress.
2. [h3] Visual and UI Improvements:[/h3]
   • Added idle wobble animations for level-select cards, chest options, and trinkets.
     
   • Adjusted trinket and consumable UI size.
     
   • Updated options HUD layout from vertical to horizontal.
     
   • There is a new loading screen with quotes.
     
   • Default font color updated for better readability.
3. [h3]Feedback Systems:[/h3]
   • Added feedback for various actions, including Dawnbringer, Stamp of Approval, and Cambrian Explosion.
     
   • Resource globes added for casts and meditations.
4. [h3]Leaderboards:[/h3]
   • Personal leaderboard for top 10 highest casts from unique runs.
     
   • Leaderboards shown on the game win and game over screens.
5. [h3]Miscellaneous Updates:[/h3]
   • Added a Discord button to the main menu.
     
   • Dynamic tooltip highlighting.
     
   • New coin assets and a liquid shader.
     
   • Options to adjust or disable Near Death Effects.
6. [h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
   • Resolved tooltip issues with spell line bookmarks and rune smasher.
     
   • Fixed incorrect item sold states in shops.
     
   • Corrected elite target selection for specific interactions.
     
   • Fixed synchronization issues with Vypras held runes.
     
   • Issues with the Forbidden Scroll of Replication were addressed, deleting multiple amethyst trinkets.
     
   • Fixed misaligned text on gem shop socket buttons on sale.
     
   • Resolved infinite loops with Copycat trinkets.
     
   • Fixed animation bugs on the main menu and level start effects.
     
   • Arachnis resets max holds correctly after changing disabled trinket targets.
