[p][/p][p]We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new initiative, the Wolcen Studio Playtest Program, a studio-wide commitment to community-driven development for our existing and future projects. And we’re excited to welcome you![/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h2]What is the Wolcen Studio Playtest Program?[/h2][p][/p][p]This studio-wide initiative gives selected players access to exclusive playtests for our current and future projects* including Gods, Death & Reapers. By answering a short questionnaire on FirstLook, our playtest registration platform, you will be considered for the upcoming GDR Closed Alpha, testing the new versions of it and, in some cases, selected to dive into our games ahead of other players.[/p][p][/p][h3]I've been invited to Gods, Death & Reapers Closed Alpha before. Do I need to sign up via FirstLook again?[/h3][p][/p][p]If you were previously invited to a Closed Alpha of Gods, Death & Reapers, you will keep your access to all upcoming regular playtests. [p][/p][p]A while ago, we invited you to inspire us with your favorite gods, characters, stories and elements from Egyptian mythology as part of our next mythology exploration.[/p][p]And you delivered![/p][p]From detailed descriptions to original artwork, your ideas were powerful, haunting and incredibly aligned with the themes we love to explore. We can’t thank you enough.[/p][p]Today, we’re excited to share the concept artworks our team created based directly on your inspirations.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][h2]Gods Are Gone[/h2][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p]The still-moving corpse of Anubis, wandering with his severed head. The gods are dead. The realms are in chaos.[/p][p]As a Reaper, you must unravel the mystery behind their fall and restore order.[/p][p][/p][h2]Apophis Devouring Ra’s Sun[/h2][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]From the remains of the Nile, twisted creatures emerge. The great serpent god Apophis stands petrified mid-devouring, forever frozen while attempting to swallow Ra’s sun.[/p][p][/p][h2]The Blood-Flooded Temple of Khnum[/h2][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]The mummified corpse of Khnum lies at the heart of his temple. From his body, blood pours endlessly, flooding sacred halls once devoted to creation.[/p][p]A divine sanctuary turned into a monument of decay.[/p][p][/p][h2]Hatmehyt: Source of Life[/h2][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]Hatmehyt, the River Fertility Goddess, reimagined as a catfish. Though dead, her body remains a source of life, spawning a grotesque oasis of corrupted plants and unnatural growth.[/p][p]Creation persists… even in death.[/p][p][/p][p]Please note that these concept artworks are works in progress. They are subject to change, refinement, or reinterpretation and may not appear in the game exactly as shown. This does not confirm Egyptian mythology as the next chapter in GDR, but one of the mythologies we’re actively exploring.
