[p]Steam Next Fest is over, and we just want to say thank you.[/p][p]Lootbound reached 540+ peak concurrent players, finished in the Top 50 out of 3,500 games during the event, and was featured by Steam. We gained 29,000 new wishlists and reached 34,000 demo activations. Right now, Lootbound sits at #560 most wishlisted game across all of Steam (out of 114,396 titles) and #137 in wishlist activity.[/p][p]For a project of this scale, these numbers are huge. They show us that the core of the game - party building, inventory synergies, risk-reward dice rooms, and assembling your own final boss - truly resonates with you.[/p][p]We’re carefully reviewing all feedback, fixing issues, improving balance, and polishing the experience. The demo was only the first step.[/p][p]Thank you to everyone who played, added the game to their wishlist, streamed it, or shared it with friends. Your support made this possible.[/p][p]Now we move forward toward full release.[/p]

We’ve also gathered enough feedback to clearly understand where we’re heading next.

One of the most common concerns was the survey automatically opening in the browser after closing the game. We understand that this felt intrusive.
In this patch, the survey will no longer open automatically. It will remain available as a button in the main menu for anyone who wants to share feedback.

[p]The new Lootbound update is now available.
Let’s aim for our highest concurrent players today and keep climbing during Steam Next Fest.[/p][p]Here’s what’s new:[/p][p]• Story slides for each character
To see them all, you need to win on every difficulty. Story slides are locked per difficulty, even if you’ve already completed it before.
• Unlock screens at the end of a run
• New background for the training room
• Reduced boss critical damage
• Increased aura strength for self-rotating items
• Rotate/reset controls available on both mouse and keyboard
• New parameters: Attack Power and Defense Power
These reflect your total offensive and defensive stats, making gear upgrades much clearer.
