[/p][p]DreamWorld has been an active labor of love, developed by a small indie startup team of around 15 people at a time over the last 4 years (plus our earlier prototype phase). We are not a AAA studio, and we have only ever had one full time artist (he’s a warrior). DreamWorld is very much still in development, and as we have for the last 4 years, we will keep working closely with our tester/player community on Discord to create the experience we envision, and the features people are asking for. [/p][p]It is best at this point in DreamWorld’s development to compare it to Minecraft (vanilla) and Valheim. The world is infinite, fully destructible, there are 80+ hours of core progression gameplay through 12 tiers of gear, thousands of biome/subbiome/topography variations, 4 world bosses, and an unending canvas to fill with your every dream. On top of all of these features, DreamWorld is also an MMO, enabling thousands of players to play together in the same world at the same time. [/p][p]DreamWorld is currently primarily a creative-focused game, we are just debuting publicly, and are very excited to share this Early Access Work In Progress! 🏹 Mob Refactor – Smarter Enemies & Better Combat
We’re continuing to refine enemy behavior, making combat more dynamic, responsive, and strategic.

✅ Improved combat logic – Enemies will move and attack more intelligently.
✅ Better world destruction mechanics – Environments react more realistically during battles.
✅ Multiplayer replication improvements – Smoother AI behavior in co-op play.



🎮 Confirmed: Full Controller Support!
We’re happy to confirm that full controller support is coming in this update! Gamepad players will enjoy seamless input, improved UI navigation, and better responsiveness.



🏙 Performance Optimizations & Area Protection Fixes
This update also includes major performance improvements, especially for large cities and multiplayer environments.

Final Days for DreamWorld Playtest Access!

Hey Dreamers! 🎮

The DreamWorld Playtest is nearing its next big milestone! Starting Monday, December 2nd, we’ll no longer allow new players to join the playtest. If you haven’t already, download the game on Steam and log in before then!

For players who created an account prior to December 2nd, you’ll still have access to the game until we prepare for our next major release. Don’t worry—your builds, resources, and items will carry over to future versions of DreamWorld!

As part of this transition, the current playtest will be removed from Steam libraries ahead of our 2025 DreamWorld release. To ensure you don’t miss out, make sure to “ADD TO YOUR WISHLIST” and “FOLLOW” our Steam Page



Don’t forget—our Refer a Friend Program is also ending on December 2nd, so invite your friends and earn rewards while you still can. After that date, new players will need a Steam Key to join. Learn more
