The first update for Bigfoot Life is now live. Thank you to everyone who has played the game and left feedback or a positive review. It helps more than you know.

[h2]In the Update[/h2]

Some controller updates. Added a gamepad sensitivity setting. Also added an invert y setting for mouse and gamepad.


Added in an option for no fur on Bigfoot. Hopefully this will help lower end PCs and steam decks. I do want to make sure I mention that the steam deck is still not officially supported.



[h2]Other Updates and Fixes.[/h2]

• A lot of optimization fixes.
  
• Captured Bigfoot quest Fix.
  
• Fixed some audio issues like lowering the volume on footsteps and squirrel audio
  
• Removed foliage logs that looked like item logs.
  
• Wise Bigfoot message update - expanded visibility zone and shows a picture of the wise bigfoot on the UI so you know it is him talking to you.
  
• Fixed Bigfoot Gift item issue.
  
• Made mushrooms, berries, and fish restore more of your health.
  
• Music Volume is now fixed and will save and load correctly.
  
• Some localization updates.

First, I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has purchased the game. Also, thank you so much to everyone who has left a positive review. Those help more than you know. If anyone has followed the development of the game, you are aware that things were not always easy with the health situation. It means everything to me to see people playing and enjoying the game. So, I just wanted to say thank you so much!



[h2]Upcoming Update[/h2]

I am putting together a list and working on some things for the first update coming soon. Below is a list of things I have so far that should be in the update. If anyone has suggestions to add to this list, please let me know.

• Optimization fixes
  
• Some controller updates
  
• Captured Bigfoot quest fix to not scare the humans and be able to throw the humans easier.
  
• Make sure all task icons still show up the next day on the map if you do not do them. I believe this is limited to any that are featuring other Bigfoot as of now.
  
• Minor localization fixes.

[h2]Bigfoot Life launches 1 week from today on Steam![/h2]



To celebrate the release of the game, I will also be doing a bundle sale with the original Morels: The Hunt game that was released under Abrams Studios. This was the first game to feature the Legend himself. Morels: The Hunt will be on sale and also be getting an update with a free new map to explore on the release date of Bigfoot Life.

Bigfoot Life will release at 12 PM CST on November 3rd.

[h2]Health Update[/h2]

For anyone who hasn't read any previous updates, I had a bone marrow transplant earlier this year. It was a success. The doctors believe that VEXAS and the Blood Cancer have been cured. However, I started to feel bad and ended up having to go back to the NIH (National Institutes of Health) in Maryland for most of September. Thankfully they were able to get a diagnosis and begin a new treatment plan. I have GVHD (Graft Versus Host Disease). Thankfully, I was able to use my time out there to finish up Bigfoot Life. I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their patience with the release of the game and for all of the support. It really means everything to me.
