[p][/p][p]We continue working on Part-Time Witch, and several new mechanics and systems have been added to the game recently.[/p][p]New races are gradually appearing in the world. Right now, the project already includes humans, elves, and orcs, and angels and demons will be added later. They will not only exist as part of the world, but will also affect gameplay.[/p][p]While working in the shop, angels and demons can now show up and interfere with serving customers. To get rid of them, you will need to use special potions.[/p][p]A special shift modifier has also been added to workdays. It can temporarily prevent you from serving certain categories of customers. This adds more variety to a normal workday and forces you to adapt to changing conditions.[/p][p][/p][p]Work is also underway on an additional brewing mechanic called ingredient grinding. Some customers will refuse a potion if the required ingredients are not ground before brewing. This system is designed to make the brewing process more variable and interesting to play.[/p][p]Another important addition is a new part-time job mini-game. If you do not have enough money to meet your quota or buy ingredients, you can now visit the factory once a day and earn some extra cash.[/p][p]During the part-time job, you will need to watch the conveyor belt and send items in the correct directions. The more items you sort correctly during the shift, the higher your reward will be.[/p][p][/p][p]We have also updated the goals and overall progression. You now need to save up a certain amount of money by the end of the week to pay rent and unlock access to more complex potions.[/p][p]In addition, two animated scenes with new characters are already complete. Lately, we have been busy polishing, creating new characters, and balancing systems that make the game world feel more alive, bolder, and… more honest about your desires 😏[/p][p][/p][p]Here’s what has changed.[/p][p]💬 Chat improvements[/p][p]We seriously upgraded the chat system. It now works directly inside the game instead of in a separate scene, so talking to characters feels natural and does not pull you out of the experience.[/p][p]The chat now features 6 new images, and we have also added progression:[/p]

• [p]new photos and dialogues unlock as you buy outfits and study ingredients[/p]
• [p]for the boss, things are stricter for now, with content unlocking by day[/p]

[p]The more actively you play, the more revealing the conversations become 👀[/p][p][/p][p]🛍 Shops you actually want to visit[/p][p]We have completely redrawn the clothing shop and introduced a new character, the femboy vendor, who definitely knows his way around fashion and looks.[/p][p][/p][p]And for those who prefer their knowledge a little hotter, a potion research library has appeared, along with a new heroine, the orc scholar. She is not just smart, but dangerously charismatic 🧪[/p][p][/p][p]👗 Wardrobe and economy[/p][p]You can now change outfits right at home, with a new wardrobe and a convenient outfit selection system.[/p][p]At the same time, we:[/p]

• [p]updated the potion reward formula, taking into account base value, speed, number of ingredients, and their worth[/p]

[p]The economy is now fairer, and progression feels more tangible.[/p][p][/p][p]🎬 Polish and atmosphere[/p][p]To make the first impression count, we added a short intro at the start of the game and a separate sprite for the game-over screen (yes, even losing looks good now).[/p][p]We have also started gradually adapting the visuals to a 16:9 format: the home location and main menu have been updated. The demo originally used a different aspect ratio, so this is a careful but important step forward.[/p][p][/p][p]🛠 Technical fixes:[/p]
