Whether it's October, December, or even July - in the world of Cat Cafe Manager 2, there will always be friendly witches to meet, magical places to discover, whimsical potions to drink, and fantastical cats to love!✨🐈‍⬛🧙‍♀️[/p][p][/p][p]That's why we're super excited to share something extra special with you today. Behind the scenes, we've been working hard to breathe life into a mystical neighborhood we can't wait for you to explore... Let's get right into it!😻[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]🏘️Paving the Streets of Limeline Village[/h2][p][/p][p]We welcome you to Limeline Village, a fairytale neighbourhood tucked into the city of Covestadt! It's lined with canals and narrow streets overgrown with greenery, with colorful historic buildings throughout. Wander and get lost in winding alleyways, uncovering Limeline's magical history and all the secrets it holds... 👀🌳

To truly bring it to life, it’s the little things that tell its story without the need for a single word. Esmeé took it upon herself to really zoom in and design the details that, together, breathe life into the world of Cat Cafe Manager 2. [/p][p][/p][p]Traffic signs, storm drains, lightning rods... even litter!🍌 It’s these aspects that makes cities feel truly lived in!🩷[/p][p][/p][p]Details Breathing Life Into The City[/p][p][/p][p]Build-A-Bush![/p][p][/p][p]Designing street signs![/p][p][/p][h2]🟨Shaping a City[/h2][p][/p][p]We zoomed in quite a bit... now let's zoom back out! To create a playable city for your character to interact in, we need more than engaging art. [/p][p][/p][p]In order to test the proportions of the houses, lengths of streets and overall fun of exploring the city, we have started by creating a grid of grey 3D blocks, shaping up a simplified version of the environment of the city. This process is literally called "greyboxing" and even though it is still at very early stages, we wanted to show you how it looks like so far:[/p][p][/p][p]Greyboxing of the West Alleyways[/p][p][/p][p]Greyboxing of the Central Square[/p][p][/p][p]Greyboxing of the East Canal[/p][p][/p][p]The next steps will be to bring life into those grey blocks with art, colours and plenty of details! 🏡💗[/p][p][/p][p]Aaand... that's it for now!
