A major Naval Action update has been deployed today, April 10.
IMPORTANT - don’t delete your player once you create the account (for any reason) You will lose the granted XP. Use forged papers.
[h3]Wipe and Experience Merge Information[/h3]
All assets and items have been reset and deleted on the Caribbean and Peace servers.
Battle Experience above the Master and Commander rank (rank 5) will be preserved per Steam ID and automatically granted when creating a new character — for all characters who had previously reached Master and Commander or higher. Previously, the M&C rank was granted to all those who finished the Final Exam.
Equivalent Ranks for M&C Across Nations:
- Great Britain: Master and Commander
- Spain: Capitán de Fragata
- France: Capitaine de Frégate
- Pirates: Rover
[h3]Key Features of the Update[/h3]
Damage Model: Overhauled ammunition, HP, leaks, fires, thickness, boarding, and various other adjustments.
Sailing Model: Streamlined speed profiles for all ships, rudder inertia, and other tuning improvements.
Crafting: Full overhaul to the crafting progression.
Trading: Trade resources are back in production with trade routes and distance-based pricing.
Player-Driven Economy and Hauling: Crafted goods required for combat and trading provide even better money-making opportunities than trading. All higher-level content has to be crafted by players.
New Modules and Books: Complete overhaul of modules and books.
Dozens of other changes and improvements, giving an almost completely new experience.
[h3]Battle Experience Merge (From War Server to Caribbean Server)[/h3]
If you had a character on the War server and its Battle Experience was higher than on the Caribbean server, your Battle Experience from the War server will replace the Battle Experience on the Caribbean server.
Examples:
Your current rank on the Caribbean server is Second Lieutenant.
Your previous rank on the closed War server was Commodore.
Outcome: Upon creating a new character on the Caribbean server, you will be granted the Battle Experience required for Commodore rank.
Your current rank on the Caribbean server is Rear Admiral.
Your previous rank on the closed War server was Second Lieutenant.
Outcome: Upon creating a new character on the Caribbean server, you will be granted the Battle Experience required for Rear Admiral.
[h3]Information on Clans on the Caribbean Server and Their Clan Tags[/h3]
Clans will be automatically created for the clan owners if two conditions are met:
- Clan Owner Rank: From Master and Commander and above
- Clan Members Count: Minimum 3 members
The clan will be created upon character creation.
This opportunity will last for two weeks. If you do not create a clan within this two-week period, the clan tag will be set free for use by others.
If you want to change the clan tag, you will need to delete your current clan and create a new one.
[h2]IMPORTANT – USING YOUR OLD CLAN TAG[/h2]
If you were the owner of a clan on the Caribbean server with at least 3 members, your clan will be created automatically.
Clan is linked to your Steam ID – not your name.
Clan is linked to your Steam ID – not your nation.
You can make a new account, use a new name, and choose a different nation.
Your clan will still be created, and you will be the owner.
