Two Ways to Purge!

[p]Loyal subjects of the Emperor,[/p][p]You'll be able to charge headfirst into glorious battle as one of two playable characters in Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2! [/p][p]So, for this month’s update, we thought we’d take a closer look at the different playstyles of Malum and Nyra. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Malum Caedo is a formidable Sternguard Veteran with a reputation for purging heretics.  [/p][p]Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun saw Malum finish the work Captain Titus started, by single-handedly ending a Chaos uprising on Forge World Graia. Now his duty is to take the fight to never-before-seen worlds and vanquish the foes that lurk there.  [/p][p]Possessing all the characteristics of a Space Marine, Malum is physically strong, resilient and unrelenting. He combines his power armour and high survivability with a mighty arsenal that packs a punch.  [/p][p][/p][p]His primary weapons are the trusty Boltgun and lethal Chainsword, perfect for brutal close-quarters combat, although his full kit includes heavy hitters like the Grav Cannon, Missile Launcher, Plasma Gun, and more!  [/p][p]While Malum has a slower movement speed than the Battle Sister Nyra, he makes up for this with his innate toughness, as well as the powerful Chainsword Lunge and charge ability to leap into the heart of the fray, obliterating any heretics that get in his way. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 adds a completely new character called Nyra Veyrath!  [/p][p]Embodying fire and faith, Nyra is a skilled and remorseless Celestian within the Adepta Sororitas, the all-female military division of the Imperial Ecclesiarchy. As a battle-hardened warrior, Nyra uses rapid movement and a holy trinity of weapons - a Bolt Pistol, Flamer, and Meltagun - to take control of any battlefield.   [/p][p]Dispatching the Imperium’s enemies with speed, precision and scores of indiscriminate flames, Nyra leaves only ashes in her wake.  [/p][p][/p][p]Utilising her Fervent Slide ability, Nyra is able to skid forward at high-speed, thrusting her Power Sword to damage and knock back any enemies in her path. Capitalising on this newfound momentum, Nyra can propel herself higher than usual and unleash a storm of bullets from above upon her foes. Or dash into melee range and slice through weaker foes with her devastating Power Sword!  [/p][p]And, of course, we can’t forget her fatal Melta-Bomb - a highly explosive device that unleashes potent thermal energy to melt any daemons or heretics caught in its blast radius. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This is just a first glimpse at our champions, but know that faith and ferocity will not be enough to face down the multitude of horrors spat out by the grim darkness of the far future.
