Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land News

In the upcoming alchemy JRPG “Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land” available March 21st, a collaboration with “Tales of Graces f Remastered”, an RPG from Bandai Namco Entertainment, has been confirmed

A collaboration costume from “Tales of Graces f Remastered” will be available as a free DLC in “Atelier Yumia”. Please look forward to further information on the timing of its release.

Also, to commemorate this collaboration, a special illustration by the illustrator Benitama was released today. The illustration features “Yumia”, the protagonist of “Atelier Yumia” and “Asbel”, the protagonist of “Tales of Graces f Remastered”, standing side-by-side wearing the collaboration costume.

Koei Tecmo has revealed a brand new trailer for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, which also happens to be the opening for the game.

Developed by Gust, Atelier Yumia is the 26th entry in the long-running franchise. Even though it bears the same name, most of the Atelier games are only loosely connected — so you can start here just fine.

Yumia is a party-based, real-time action RPG where players explore the world and battle enemies while gathering items and materials. Like the rest of the series, Atelier Yumia features a heavy emphasis on alchemy and crafting but implements a new change that allows players to quick-craft and create items instantly while exploring.

Battles progress in real time with intuitive gameplay.
The skills that are available can change depending on the range (close or long/far). Well timed evades or guards against enemy attacks will help battles progress in your favor. In addition, the three front guards and three rear guards can be freely interchanged during battle. Under certain conditions, the powerful “Friend Action” combination attack can be triggered! Team up and face the enemy.



Once certain conditions are reached, the “Mana Surge” can be activated, which enhances the character and allows for exclusive actions.　 In addition, each character's unique special move, “Maximized Mana Surge,” can be used to unleash a powerful attack on the enemy. A variety of items created through synthesis play an active role in the battle. By identifying the weak points of your enemies, wipe them out with powerful items.

"Synthesis" is the way of creating new items by manipulating “mana”. Items created will be useful in many situations, such as exploration and battle.



The “Resonance Synthesis” is performed by adding ingredients to the “Alchemy Core” present in the recipe and allowing them to resonate. Strength of the “resonance” that occurs when materials are added determines the strength of the item. Identify the best materials and create better items.

Once a landmark is unlocked, a new base can be built. Enjoy the architectural freedom with your own choice of walls, floors, roofs, furniture, and more. You can also easily build a base from the catalog. In addition, by increasing the “comfort level” of your base, bonuses such as the ability to develop the base and strengthen the abilities of Yumia and her friends are also available!

[h3]■Exploration (Cooking, Campsites)[/h3]
Create a camp set and use it on the field to set up camp. Spend a relaxing time together by cooking or resting. Cooking provides useful benefits for exploration and battle, and sometimes events that can only be seen at camps occurs!
