Thank you for playing Bokura: planet

I have released a new update featuring various additions, including an added ending.

Thanks to all your feedback and reactions, I came to feel that I needed to tell a little more of what lies ahead for the characters. Futures I had previously left up to the player’s imagination.
By adding this new ending, I hope to create a point from which players can truly imagine what could happen.
Please see where their journey leads, and if possible, I hope you’ll talk about what you believe their future holds.

In addition, I have also addressed several progression-stopping bugs that were reported on the forum, along with a few gameplay adjustments.

・An additional ending
A new further ending has been added. Corresponding achievements have also been added.

・Fixes for certain connectivity issues
Addressed issues related to server disconnection, lag, and forced game termination.

・Some puzzles have been rebalanced.

・Fixed achievement unlock bug
Fixed an issue where achievements were not unlocking even after meeting the conditions. If you had already met the conditions in a previous playthrough, simply launch the updated game, and the achievement will automatically unlock on the home screen.

・Other minor bug fixes

Due to how the game is built, the game has to be played between the same versions.
If two different versions are connected, the host will receive an error message,
“App version mismatch. Update to latest version”
If this appears, please enable Steam auto-update and restart Steam before playing the game.

First of all, thank you so much for playing BOKURA: planet. It’s hard to believe it’s already been a week since launch, and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response on Steam, social media, and across various communities. I’m truly delighted that this project has found its way into your hands.
Based on your feedback, I’m currently considering the following updates:

1. Additional Ending for BOKURA: planet
It was an incredible feeling to see so many of you dive into BOKURA: planet faster than even BOKURA’s launch momentum and share your thoughts on the story. I’ve been touched by analyses and theories I never even imagined, and as the creator, it’s a daily joy to see this work resonate with you. In response, I want to craft a new ending that lets you ponder the characters’ futures—just as we did after BOKURA. While the plot is still in broad-strokes planning, I’m aiming to implement it in-game sometime between May and June.

2. Connection-Issue Countermeasures
We’ve seen reports—especially in Simplified Chinese reviews and community threads—of lag and occasional crashes due to server connection hiccups. I’ll be running validation tests and server diagnostics to pinpoint what we can improve, then roll those fixes into an upcoming update.

3. Puzzle-Difficulty Adjustments
Some of you pointed out that a few puzzles feel overly cryptic. I’ll be reviewing and rebalancing their overall difficulty to ensure a smoother experience.

4. Other Bugs & Feedback Handling
Beyond the items above, I’m combing through every piece of feedback you’ve posted. If you encounter any bugs while playing, please report them in this thread:

This project grew out of ideas I had during the planning of BOKURA, but with a twist: whereas the original focused on “the different landscapes each player sees,” BOKURA: planet explores “what each player is thinking in their heart.”
You and your partner must cooperate toward your own hidden goals, creating the paradox of feeling lonely even while standing side by side.
In moments where thorough communication and mutual understanding are crucial, tensions may arise—but that very tension, and the process of working through it together, completes the experience.

This is a two-player-only "Hidden Objective" puzzle adventure game where players work together through conversation to solve puzzles and continue their journey.
Unlike our previous title BOKURA, this time each player secretly holds a different objective, all while cooperating to progress through the stages.
Sometimes, you might even hinder each other or push your partner off a cliff… This game might not be all about cooperation after all.

We encourage you to play with a friend and experience a co-op gameplay you have never seen.

To celebrate the launch, we’re honored to have Kōji Kumeta (of Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei) create a brand-new key art just for this release.

BOKURA: planet is a Hidden Objective co-op adventure where the 2 players must communicate with each other to solve puzzles and progress on their journey.
Each player is given a different objective and they must play the game without letting the other player know about your intentions.

In this Special Demo, I have prepared a different story from the full game set to release on April 25, 2025.


Players become crew members of a research ship and must find a way back to Earth.
Gameplay is estimated to be around 1 hour.

A Hidden Objective co-op adventure where you hide your intentions from the other player.
What does it feel like to cooperate with different intentions at heart…?
I feel that this game's experience will be new and different compared to the previous BOKURA in some way.
