Half-Dead, but Still Open

Greetings, warm-bloods and other temperature creatures!
[p] I’m owner, bartender, and chief mop-wielder of the wasteland’s friendliest lounge. By day I run a grimy ghoul bar and junk stall, by night I barricade the doors and try to… keep the unwanted guests out. And you, my friend, you’ve just stumbled into the first devlog for Ghoul's Saloon - a darkly comic management and-defense game about keeping a business afloat when half your customers are half-dead. (Please mind the wet floor sign. And just don’t ask about it).

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][/p]
So… what is Ghoul's Saloon exactly?
[p]Think neon-lit bar management meets build-and-survive defense, with a black-comedy vibe.
Run the bar (and a little “recycling” side business): Brew weird tonics that buff customers (and you), haggle over scrap, and harvest parts from cadavers for crafting. Don’t worry, it’s totally ethical! (Half-ethical).
[/p]
Tinker & Trap:
[p]Craft contraptions from bottle caps, broken jukeboxes, and questionably sourced limbs. Wire up traps, lay decoys, and reinforce chokepoints before the sun clocks out. Your day choices = your night problems: Threats scale off how you run the joint and whether you’re flying solo or in co-op.
Toss bottles, swing mops, and shout “WATCH YOUR HEADS!” with friends - or prove you can do it all by yourself. I could, but some serv… friends are always welcome.
[/p]
Grotesque, goofy, gallows humor.
A flickering lamp? That’s the ambience.
A twitching corpse? That’s lunch.
[p]
[/p]
A day in the unlife
[p]Open shop: set the day’s specials, haggle and unlock vendor contacts that definitely aren’t cursed.
Schmooze or squeeze: customers chat, barter, gossip - use their intel to find destroyed caravans and other wasteland’s secrets. Night defense: protect the bar, the till, and your pride. Survive to reopen with new scars, scraps and better recipes.
We’ve opened our doors on Steam and we’re inviting you to wishlist and follow. Wishlists tell Valve you want to buy later; follows make sure you see future devlogs and updates - both really help reaching to the new clientele.
Until then: stay safe and at least half alive!
