v1.1 - The Trial of Chaos

[p]Splintered v1.1 features the Trial of Chaos! Dive back into Aedma's Trials to experience the most chaotic trial yet! Completing this trial unlocks the "Random!" preset and an expanded appearance selector. v1.1 also features the new "Standard+" preset (for those that have cleared Chapter 5).   • [p]Trial of Chaos[/p]
    • [p]The most chaotic trial yet where every setting in the game is randomized![/p]
      • [p]To unlock this trial, all previous trials must be completed.[/p]
    • [p]Completing the Trial of Chaos will to unlock the "Random!" preset, which gives a random (and hidden) set of settings for every seed.[/p]
      • [p]Note: For those that want to randomize all settings but also want to fine tune a few 'must have' settings, selecting the "Random!" preset under "Customize Run" will allow you to do just that.[/p]
    • [p]Completing the Trial of Chaos also unlocks an expanded appearance selector, allowing you to set your appearance to any of the general NPCs.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Standard+ Preset[/p]
    • [p]These settings are similar to "Standard", but enhanced with many new features that players unlock beyond Chapter 2.[/p]
    • [p]To unlock this preset, players must first complete Chapter 5.[/p]
    • [p]Highlights include:[/p]
      • [p]Final boss is randomized[/p]
      • [p]Equipment and Equipment Abilities are randomized/shuffled[/p]
      • [p]Enemies have traits from all eras[/p]
      • [p]Bosses have +2 bonus traits[/p]
      • [p]Talent setting is set to shuffle[/p]
        • [p]This is normally a "Hunt" mode setting, but it adds a nice level of variance and progression to talent acquisition, so I've included it even if players haven't cleared the Trial of the Hunt yet.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Misc.:[/h3]
  • [p]Completion % has been modified to account for the new Trial and achievement (but still totals 101% when the game has been fully completed).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where bonus boss traits couldn't be set to "3" after clearing the Trial of the Rogue.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where, when playing a seed with both "Random Equipment" and "Randomized Equipment Price", two items would become purchasable for 1g and only require 1exp to level their abilities.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where there would be a timing discrepancy between the end of run "Clear Time" stated in the dialogue box and the "Clear Time" reported in the Run History.[/p]
