"Service Pack 2" Update is now live
After more than 6 months of development and many thousands of hours of beta testing, we're very happy to announce that Trainz A New Era "Service Pack 2 "has arrived. With this latest update, which includes a range of under-the-hood improvements as well as hundreds of bug fixes, we are confident that we are delivering our most reliable and stable version of Trainz ever.
SP2 provides a far more robust platform upon which to expand Trainz for years to come and also enables owners of "Trainz Model Railroad" to install the 7 routes and 22 sessions to effectively merge their Trainz versions into one.
If you do not own Trainz Model Railroad 2017, then you can purchase the content as "DLC" to expand your collection and enjoy virtual railroading from a whole new perspective. (These DLC items will be live in the next 24 hours).
UPDATE JUNE 23:
1. The SP2 update has now been released for Mac users
2. There is a small update for PC users to sort out an issue some users were having with a database repair
3. Login and DLC server issues are now resolved
If you have trouble logging in, downloading your DLC or accessing the Trainz Download Station you can contact our helpdesk through a new Steam Issue Submission Form. The team will generally get back to you within 24 hours and often much quicker.
