Patch #05: Chaos Beasts Update
[p]Hello miners![/p][p][/p][p]It's time for the first big update in Hold The Mine: the Chaos Beasts Update! [/p][p][/p][p]This update introduces the first two bosses: the Mountain Dragon and the Giant Worm Duo. [/p][p][/p][p]Available in Lord Of Stones and King Under The Mountain difficulties, those bosses are respectively actives in the Mountain and the Volcano biomes and are here to cause you some trouble both day and night. And before you ask, yes the Frozen biome is still boss free... at least for now... but maybe not for long. [/p][p] [/p][p]The update also includes new buildings and relics, to provide more ways to specialize your build. I know it's still impossible to rely entirely on one single synergy, but that's something I'll keep improving over the next patches without removing the ability to play a mix of some. [/p][p][/p][p]Some important balancing changes come with this update, including several hero buffs, a big improvement of the curse synergy and the hospital building among other things.[/p][p][/p][p]Hold The Mine released just 3 weeks ago and I feel like the game already improved a lot. Thanks to your feedback, I'm sure I can make it even better in the coming weeks and months. You guys really share some really cool ideas I can wait to work on. - [p]Sealed Sewer (Uncommon Building): Whenever a stack of Poison is applied, 20% chance of triggering a toxic flood that deals 5 damage within a small area. Damage is increased by 3 per additional stack of poison on the enemy.[/p]
- [p]Electric Pole (Common Building): Periodically triggers a giant lightning strike every 10 seconds, dealing 25 damage and applying Shock to enemies within the area.[/p]
- [p]Poison Vial (Rare Relic): Poison status effect deals 1 more damage per tick.[/p]
- [p]Blunt Dagger (Uncommon Relic): All heroes' basic attacks have 30% chance of applying Knockback 1.[/p]
- [p]Mysterious Fruit (variant) (Uncommon Relic): Increases heroes' base damage by 2.[/p]
- [p]Ritual Dagger (Common Relic): All heroes' basic attacks have 20% chance of applying Curse.[/p]
- [p]Burning Sword (Common Relic): All heroes' basic attacks have 20% chance of applying Burn. [/p]
- [p]Slight reduction of the bonus health on enemies for the first 10 nights.[/p]
- [p]Reduced Curse trigger cooldown from 4 to 3 seconds.[/p]
- [p]Increased the Hospital (building) effect damage from 75 to 150% and decreased construction cost from 10 to 8.[/p]

- [p]Increased Fire Heater (Dragon Hunter Power) next attack cooldown reduction from 50 to 60%.[/p]
- [p]Increased Cursed Apostle base damage from 7 to 8.[/p]
- [p]Increased Cursed Apostle base attack speed from 0.55 to 0.65.[/p]
- [p]Increased Berserker base range from 6.5 to 7.[/p]
- [p]Increased Huntress base critical hit chance from 5 to 10%.[/p]
- [p]Increased Necromancer base attack speed from 0.6 to 0.7.[/p]
- [p]Increased Necromancer base range from 5 to 6.[/p]
- [p]Increased Necromancer base damage from 5 to 6.[/p]
- [p]A guaranteed Mimic spawns on the first night in Endless Mode (3% chance for one to spawn before that). After that it's 6% chance for to spawn and the percentage increases by 3% every 5 nights for a maximum of 12% chance. [/p]
- [p]Decreased the Harpoon Atelier (building) effect knockback strength from 5 to 3 and from 10 to 6.[/p]
- [p]Decreased the Windmaker (building) slow effect from 20 to 10% and increased construction cost from 5 to 8.[/p]
- [p]Increased Tax Collector (building) construction cost from 4 to 5.[/p][p][/p]
- [p]The leaderboard has been reset to take into account all the changes introduced. [/p]
- [p]Building Information Panel has been updated. Building tooltip now displays the cost for building not built yet and linked synergies information, similar to relics and powers. This panel is accessible through the little House button near the Play/Pause button.[/p]
- [p]Flying Skull Heads can now be affected by Death Mark and Hunter Mark as it doesn’t do direct effect or damage to them. They are still immune to status effects (Burn, Slow, Poison, Shock, Slow) and Knockback. [/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where the Siren Scream (Sea Witch power) visual effect would trigger as soon as you get the hero.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue preventing stats of the hero in battle to show the real and updated numbers when mouse hovering a hero at the surface. [/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where the Group Pillar (Bastion power) bonus knockback would not be applied to Cursed Apostle and Necromancer.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where a tile covered by snow without something on the block would not show any tooltip, hinting it contains nothing.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue preventing any digging after looting a blueprint even when expedition is available.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue that could cause some music overlapping after the game is paused.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue with the HP counter growing too much when taking multiple damage in a short period of time.[/p]

- [p]Fixed an issue preventing 2 stacks of Burn to be applied with a certain gem once the Gem Belt and Sacred Torch relics are both active. [/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue preventing Death Mark (Rogue Power) to consider the Flying Skull Head as a top priority enemy.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue allowing the Flying Skull Heads to spawn within the same short period of time at the start of the night. [/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue when Explosive Stash (Building) could trigger visual effects in the fog of war at a bomb location, revealing the position of the block. [/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue making a call for help in the mine disappear after an expedition.[/p]
