Steam Awards Nominee in Story Rich category!

We thought, that with the insane amount of exceptional stories this year the artstyle of No, I’m not a Human would live a bigger impact on you. Imagine our surprise, when we found out that our game is nominated for Story Rich award instead!

We’re very thankful for such support, and this moment fills us with incredible joy. We feel humbled by this nomination. After all, it means that the game’s themes and story resonated with so many of you.

Roman (narrative designer, game designer):
Never in my wildest dreams I’d imagine that a game I’ve worked on would be nominated for Steam Awards. And I’ve dreamt of making video games since childhood, like so many people in the industry. Working on this amazing game, with such an amazing team was a true honor for me. Even such active support from fans is already enough of a reward for me. But being nominated for the story is just next level.

Nikita (head of studio, game director):
We were nominated for story on Steam Awards? But I don’t even know how words work.

On a more serious note, I thought that we could reach such success no earlier than in 5 yars. After multiple popular releases. But you’re already supporting No, I’m not a Human to such an extent, and it’s simply incredible. It seems, that you’ve resonated deeply with the game — and we’re committed to continue bringing you similar personal stories wrapped in an exciting gameplay.

Being the nominee is already a huge achievement for us. But if you’re confident that we’re worthy of the award itself, then…
VOTE FOR NO, I’M NOT A HUMAN AS THE BEST STORY RICH GAME THIS YEAR!
Speaking of future projects. We’re planning to release Lost in the Roots very soon. You most definitely met Yakob, the Immortal Man amongst the guests in No, I’m not a Human. If you were intrigued by his story, there is a high chance you’ll enjoy Lost in the Roots as well.

Preview – Usual Suspects content update

Knock-knock!

Good news in the world of the scorching sun are scarce. Same as water. And we are here to quench your metaphorical thirst with another update preview. Now at least 2x times juicer!

So, we’re not about to have a content drought here. Good to know. But what can you expect come Christmas? Well, let’s see:
 • 12 new guests — each with their own personality and dialogues. But you already know this part, so here’s another teaser with more new faces:

 • 6 extra character events — fleshing out stories and personalities for more guests. Tense, horrifying or just plain absurd. We hope that none of them will leave you disappointed:

 • One more ending — the perfect one for the more antisocial (or tragically unlucky) of the House owners out there;
 • Additional dream sequence — shroom-themed. Maybe even tastes like them, if you dream hard enough;
 • Return of a certain killer featurego back, to the days of the Steam Next Fest demo, and show that disgusting cockroach who owns the fridge;
 • Steam Trading Cards — to sweeten the deal and make replaying the game even more enticing.

Of course, some non-content related improvements are in order as well. After all, as mentioned above, we like killing bugs. And this update should prune a number of those from the game.

We’re also aiming to release No, I’m not a Human original soundtrack and the artbook together with this update. However, since this stuff involves not just our team, we can’t promise that they’re going to be ready at the same time as the update.

That’s about all we have for you this time around! But while you wait for the update, you might want to check out our freshly released Violent Horror Collection 2. After all, this post and No, I’m not a Human wouldn’t reach such heights if it wasn’t for the first part of this anthology!

See you in December!
